Tool for driving a fastener
A hand tool for driving a fastener is provided. The hand tool includes gearing that interconnects a splined socket to a rotatable or trigger actuator and increases a rotational speed of the splined socket relative to the actuator. The hand tool may include a power tool receiver or an independent motor to drive rotation of the splined socket to advance or retract a fastener from a threaded shaft. By increasing the speed and conserving rotational inertia, the hand tool reduces the time to secure a fastener on a threaded shaft. A rotatable nut is provided. The rotatable nut can slideably orient along a first axis and threadedly orient along a second axis to fasten to an adjacent surface.
Screwdriver
A screwdriver includes a first section, a second section where a positioning groove is annularly formed, a sleeve member detachably disposed on the second section, and an engagement member disposed in the sleeve member. The sleeve member has a body with a through hole, a magnetic unit disposed in the through hole, and an accommodation groove adapted to accommodate the engagement member. When the second section and the sleeve member engage in position, the accommodation groove and the positioning groove meet to engage the engagement member with the positioning groove. The engagement between the second section and the sleeve member allows a gap to be formed between a screw head and the sleeve member while inserting the second section into a socket of the screw head, so the magnetic attraction exists without the contact between the sleeve member and the screw head for a firm engagement therebetween.
Mobile and Modular Drill Apparatus, Components thereof, and Methods of Use
An apparatus providing a platform for installing screws can include a cart with wheels, an assembly rail system mounted to the cart, and a screw assembly mounted to the assembly rail system. The screw assembly can include a screw feeding device, a screw guide tube, and a screwing device such as a drill that rotates a drive shaft that engages a screw received from the screw guide tube. The screw feeding device can include a screw rack that holds screws, and a magnetic grip that moves a screw from the screw rack to a screw feeding tube that is connected to the screw guide tube. The screw guide tube can include bristles for centering a screw received from the screw feeding tube. The apparatus can include a computer control system that operates the screwing device and the screw feeding device.
SCREW GUIDE AND RELATED METHOD OF USE
A fastener guide is provided including a base plate that engages a first board, a guide member that maintains an advancing fastener at a preselected offset angle relative to the first board, and a retainer clip that engages a second board that is transverse to the first board. The retainer clip includes first and second prongs that resiliently hold the guide in place as the fastener is advanced at the offset angle, optionally without manual input so that a user can manipulate the fastener and a driving tool instead of holding the guide to align the fastener. A related method of use is provided.
SCREW-IN AID FOR SCREWING IN A LONG SCREW
Screw-in aid for screwing a long screw in a defined screw-in angle in an underground, with at least one underground portion for placing at the underground and at least one screw placing portion for placing the screw on it, wherein the screw-in angle is formed between them, characterized in that at the screw placing portion, a screw holder is, in particular detachably, arranged, which forms a, in particular circumferentially closed, screwing channel for the screw between them, to guide the screw when screwing into the underground.
Dual positionable fastener installation tool adaptor
A dual positionable adaptor for a fastener driver assembly employs a tandem guide assembly mounted to a guide head which has an entry reference surface defining an opening for a fastener to provide a proper location and entry angle for the fastener. A pair of wings each defines a pair of reference engagement edges which engage either an upper horizontal member or a lower horizontal member. The wings, together with the entry reference surface, define a proper entry location and angle for connecting a vertical stud to either an upper plate or a lower plate. The selected adaptor position is achieved by securing the adaptor in one of two angular positions relative to the tube axis of the fastener driver assembly. The wings are also affixed with squirrel claws to lock the adaptor in place for installing the fastener. The adaptor also includes flush indicators to indicate that the proper flush position of the reference surface against the vertical member is achieved. The wings are independently pivotal to accommodate situations wherein the tandem wing configuration cannot be employed. The fastener is retained within the adaptor fastener channel via a magnet assembly.
Position indicator tools and methods
Position indicator tools systems and methods for use with an elongated adapter are disclosed. Tools are configurable to engage the distal end of the elongated adapter include a first member wherein the first member has a distal end and two projection elements positioned in a plane and a channel between the projection elements further wherein at least one of the first members has a notch at a distal end on a channel-facing side, a positioning member formed integrally with the first member wherein the positioning member has a linear marker on a first side, an angled marker on a second side, and a rocker positioned between the angled marker and the channel.
Magnetic bit holder with automatic retracting guide sleeve
A magnetic driver bit holder may include, but is not limited to: a drive portion including: a shaft portion including: a recess disposed in an end portion of the shaft portion; and one or more magnets disposed within the shaft portion, and a sleeve portion including: a hollow tube dimensioned such that the shaft portion may be inserted into the hollow tube; and a ring magnet coupled to an end portion of the hollow tube.
SET TOOL ASSEMBLY FOR DRIVING A FASTENER INTO A WORKPIECE
A set tool may comprise a handle member and a fastener retention member modularly coupled with the handle member. A permanent magnet may be positioned within a portion of the handle member and may be used to secure a ferromagnetic fastener within a fastener retention recess formed within the fastener retention member, when the fastener retention member is engaged with the handle member.
