Anti-Slip Torque Tool with Integrated Engagement Features
An anti-slip torque tool with integrated engagement features includes a torque-tool body, at least one pair of diametrically opposing engagement features, and an intermediate feature. The pair of diametrically opposing engagement features includes a first opposing feature and a second opposing feature and functions as engagement features around the head portion of the fastener that needs to be removed. The first opposing feature and the second opposing feature are radially distributed around a rotational axis of the torque-tool body. The first opposing feature and the second opposing feature are terminally connected to each other by the intermediate feature. The torque-tool body is outwardly extended from the first opposing feature, the second opposing feature, and the intermediate feature thus delineating an opening to receive the head portion of the fastener.
Clench wrench
A clench wrench includes a structure including a handle and an engaging head. The engaging head includes an engaging space extending through front and back sides thereof. The engaging space defines an opening on both the front and back sides. A clenching device is mounted on the engaging head and includes a clenching member. The clenching member includes a clenching portion and is operable in a first mode in which the clenching portion is located at a first position and capable of clenching an object engaged with the engaging head, and a second mode in which the clenching portion is disposed away from the engaging space and is located at a second position and capable of letting the object engaged with the engaging head disengage therefrom.
SOCKET
A socket includes a connection section and a driving section, and a through hole is defined through the connection section and the driving section. The through hole includes a connection portion, a transition portion and a driving portion. The connection portion is to be connected with a ratchet wrench. The driving portion is to be mounted to a head of a bolt or a nut. A first shoulder is formed between the connection portion and the transition portion, and a second shoulder is formed between the transition portion and the driving portion. When the threaded section is inserted into the socket from the driving portion of the through hole, the first shoulder contacts the distal end of the threaded section of the bolt, and the second shoulder contacts the nut, so that the nut can be rotated.
Open end wrench capable of fast driving and having high toughness and a long service life
An open end wrench includes a body having a jaw portion for holding a workpiece. The jaw portion includes an arcuate sliding groove, an expanding groove, and a slider movable relative to the arcuate sliding groove along an arcuate path. The jaw includes a first jaw having a force-applying face and an evasive portion adjacent to the force-applying face. When the jaw portion deforms elastically while wrenching the workpiece, the expanding groove increases the expanding effect within an elastic limit of the jaw portion, such that a corner between the force-receiving face in a first rotating direction and a sixth force-receiving face in a second rotating direction can move across the force-applying face into the evasive portion, avoiding damage to the slider and the first jaw resulting from failure in withstanding the reactive force from the workpiece. Thus, the open end wrench has high toughness and a long service life.
Screwdriver and ratchet mechanism thereof
A screwdriver and a ratchet mechanism thereof are disclosed. A ratchet mechanism includes: a main body base having blocking portions; a ratchet elastic sheet having abutment portions corresponding to the blocking portions; two blocking sheets retained on the blocking portions and abutted the abutment portions to be positioned between the blocking and abutment portions; a pinion having a gear portion between the blocking sheets to allow the gear portion and the blocking sheets to be adjusted between engagement/disengagement states; a positioning elastic sheet having an operating portion; a ratchet direction adjuster having contact members corresponding to the blocking sheets and an operated portion corresponding to the operating portion. The operating portion operates the operated portion, the contact members contact the blocking sheets and the blocking sheets being operated by the contact members to be in disengagement state with the gear portion to adjust the rotational direction of the gear portion.
DEVICE REMOVABLY MOUNTED TO A SURFACE BY A QUICK DISCONNECT TOOL AND QUICK DISCONNECT MALE CONNECTOR AND METHODS OF USING THE QUICK DISCONNECT AND MALE CONNECTOR TO REMOVABLY MOUNT THE DEVICE TO THE SURFACE
Provided are a quick disconnect tool and a male connector configured for removably mounting a device on a surface. The tool includes a socket, detents in the socket and a collar to open and close the detents. The male connector fits within the socket and cannot rotate within the socket. The male connector has at a first end a recess into which the detents can lock the male connector inside the socket and threads at a second end opposite the first end. Also provided is a method removably mounting a device to a surface using the quick disconnect too and the male connector.
Clench Wrench
A clench wrench has a structure including a handle and an engaging head. The engaging head defines an engaging space. A clenching device is mounted on the engaging head. The clenching device includes a resilient clenching member fixed to the engaging head and having a free end. The clenching member has a clenching portion at the free end. The free end of the clenching member is bendable to selectively clench an object. A block is disposed on the engaging head and abuts against the clenching member and counteracts a force that causes the clenching portion to move from the first position to the second position.
