IMPACT TOOLS AND CONTROL MODES
A power tool includes a housing, a brushless motor received in the housing, a power switch coupled to the housing and actuatable by a user, a controller configured to control power delivery to the motor in response to actuation of the power switch, and an output spindle configured to rotate when the motor is energized. The controller is configured to maintain an amount of current delivered to the motor to be less than or equal to a current limit by turning off or reducing power to the motor for a time period if the current exceeds the current limit and then restarting power delivery to the motor. The time period is greater than the duration of one full current cycle.
ELECTRIC WORK MACHINE
An electric work machine includes a display that properly displays display-data. The electric work machine includes a motor including a stator and a rotor rotatable relative to the stator, an output unit driven by the rotor, a display panel that displays a setting state of the output unit, and a holder holding the display panel. The holder includes metal or synthetic resin.
POWER TOOL WITH KNURLED BUSHING
A power tool includes a housing, a drive assembly including an output shaft extending from the housing such that a tool element for performing work on a workpiece is attachable to the output shaft, and a bushing rotatably supporting the output shaft. The bushing includes an outer surface having a knurled texture.
Socket-Driven Lighting Connector, Socket-driven Lighting Device, and Operating Method of Socket-Driven Lighting Device
A socket-driven lighting connector is configured to connect with a socket and includes a connector main body, a light bulb, a switch, and a positioning ball. The connector main body includes an enclosing wall and a radial through hole. The enclosing wall surrounds and forms a through space. The radial through hole penetrates the enclosing wall and is in communication with the through space. The light bulb is disposed in the through space. The switch is provided in the through space and is electrically connected to the light bulb. The positioning ball is movably provided in the radial through hole. The switch and the positioning ball are so structured that by mounting the socket on the connector main body, the light bulb can be turned on to enhance the efficiency with which the socket can be operated in the dark.
HAND-HELD POWER TOOL
A hand-held power tool including a drive unit. The drive unit is actuatable with the aid of at least one manual switch, The hand-held power tool also includes a housing and at least one user interface, the user interface including at least one operating element. The user interface includes at least one work location illumination unit, the work location illumination unit including at least one illuminant and at least one light guiding element.
LIGHTED POWER TOOL
A tool storage system includes a tool storage container configured to receive therein a battery for a power tool with an inductive receiving unit. An inductive transmitting unit is coupled to the tool storage container and configured to receive a source of electrical power. The inductive transmitting unit is configured to induce generation of electrical power in the inductive receiving unit to charge the battery. A controller is configured to control generation of electrical power by the inductive receiving unit based on a position or alignment of the inductive receiving unit relative to the inductive transmitting unit.

Tool illumination source
An illumination source disposed in a housing of a tool without the need for fasteners or snaps. The illumination source includes a number illumination elements, such as LEDs, disposed on a circuit board. A lens and the housing cooperatively direct light emitted by the illumination elements away from a user's eyes during use of the tool.

Impact tool
An impact tool includes a housing, an electric motor supported within the housing and having a motor shaft, and a drive assembly configured to convert a continuous rotational input from the motor shaft to consecutive rotational impacts upon a workpiece. The drive assembly includes a camshaft having front and rear portions. A gear assembly is coupled between the motor shaft and the drive assembly, the gear assembly including a ring gear that is rotationally and radially fixed relative to the housing and a plurality of planet gears meshed with the ring gear. Each of the plurality of planet gears is coupled to the rear portion of the camshaft, and a line of action of a radial load exerted by the rear portion of the camshaft on the housing passes through one of the plurality of planet gears and the ring gear.
