Brake Caliper Tool
A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed, with a narrow gap between facing pressure plates allowing use of the tool in tight places, and ratcheting spreading of the facing pressure plates causing outward moving of the pistons, enabling work to be performed. One of the pressure plates is reversible to change the minimum narrow gap from a first width to a second width. In each of the orientations, the plates are movable towards and away from one another.
Brake spreader tool
A tool for retracting at least one piston into a mating cylinder bore of a caliper assembly provided with a set of brake pads to be serviced, the tool comprising: a first pressure plate; a second pressure plate; a coupler joining the first pressure plate with the second pressure plate, the coupler comprising: a bushing affixed to the first pressure plate along an axis perpendicular to the first pressure plate such that the bushing can rotate about, but cannot move along, the axis in relation to the first pressure plate, wherein the bushing defines a bore that is internally threaded; a stud affixed to the second pressure plate along the axis such that the stud cannot rotate about, nor move along, the axis in relation to the second pressure plate, the stud defining an external thread, wherein the stud is threadedly inserted into the bore of the bushing.
Widener
A widener is provided, including: a base, a pushing assembly and a driving assembly. The base includes an inner space, a first passage and a second passage which are communicated with one another, and the first passage is transverse to the second passage. The pushing assembly includes a first pushing board, a second pushing board and a linkage member. The first pushing board is positioned at the base. The linkage member is movably inserted within the second passage. The second pushing board comovably connected with the linkage member. The driving assembly includes a tube body, a driving member and a driving block. The tube body defines a driving space, and the driving block is movably received in the driving space. An end of the tube body is connected with the first passage and the driving space is communicated with the inner space.
TOOL FOR REMOVING BRAKE SHOE KEY
A tool for removing a brake shoe key having a main member and a pin. The main member has an elongated section with one end connected to a receiver. The receiver forms a trough for receiving a brake shoe key. The longitudinal axis of the trough is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the elongated section of the main member, which has at least two holes that for receiving an end of a pry bar. The first side wall and the second side wall of the trough each has an opening that is configured to allow the elongated body of the pin to pass through both openings simultaneously. The first side wall is contiguous with the elongated section of the main member. The floor of the trough forms a front side of the tool, which has a slot for receiving a tip of a brake shoe key.
Quick connect liner latch system assembly oil well production liner insertion with wire line
A quick connect liner latch system assembly (QCLL). The QCLL latches each joint of a slick line deployed liner together quickly and easily. This system can set an anchor in an existing well bore at a shallow depth and run a new liner in the well with a slick line unit using the QCLL system. It is a safer operation for the workers and environment and cost savings to the operator. The QCLL has two main sections that are locked together to form the full QCLL. The upper and lowers sections are locked together using a body lock ring. The units are not threaded together, which eliminates the need for a conventional rig for installation. The QCLL is unique because the inside diameter (ID) of the latch can remain large enough to accommodate a standard liner wiper plug for the weight of the liner being run into the well.
Portable power tool
The present disclosure provides a portable power tool. The power tool includes a tool body, a tool assembly and a gas pressure detection assembly. The tool assembly includes a tool bit furnished detachably in an end of the tool body. The gas pressure detection assembly is furnished detachably in another end of the tool body. The gas pressure detection assembly is communicatively coupled to the tool body.
Brake caliper tool
A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed, with a narrow gap between facing pressure plates allowing use of the tool in tight places, and ratcheting spreading of the facing pressure plates causing outward moving of the pistons, enabling work to be performed, wherein movement of a threaded stud through a coupler moves a first pressure plate.
Spreading tool having a spreader portion with a cam profile and an associated method
A spreading tool and an associated method are provided to permit members that are biased toward one another to be separated in an efficient and a controlled manner. One example of a spreading tool includes a handle portion and a spreader portion coupled to the handle portion and defining a longitudinal axis. The spreader portion includes a cam profile defining a cam-lobe center line. The cam profile may also define a width perpendicular to the cam-lobe center line and a length parallel to the cam-lobe center line. In use, the spreader portion may be inserted between the two members such that the width of the cam portion separates the two members. The handle portion may then be rotated about the longitudinal axis of the spreader portion until the two members are separated by a distance greater than the width of the elongate cross-sectional cam profile.
