Fuel nozzle seal removal tool
A system comprises a holder including a mounting feature configured to mount to a flange of a fuel injector and a block including a mounting feature configured to mount to a side of the flange that is opposite from the holder. The system includes, punch configured to pass through at least one punch aperture in the block. The punch aperture is configured to guide a tip of the punch into position to deform a c-seal seated in a seal channel of the flange. A method for using the system using the system is also disclosed.
Articulated seal puller system
A tool is formed of an upper component and a lower component. An intermediate component is formed of a first plate and a parallel second plate. The first plate and the second plate span the lower end of the upper component forming an upper pivot point and span the upper end of the lower component forming a lower pivot point. A foot is integrally formed with and extends r the lower component. A handle is formed of a cross piece with a central extent from the lower component adjacent to the lower end of extent central extent being attached to the upper end of the upper component.
Dipstick adapter leak repair method and kit
A leaking oil dipstick adapter is repaired by removing a flanged nut from a threaded extension of the dipstick adapter. A gasket and preferably also gasket seal forming material are applied surrounding the threaded extension of the dipstick adapter and adjacent to an exterior side of the wall of the oil pan. A washer is applied adjacent to this gasket. A nut is threaded onto the threaded extension of the dipstick adapter and applies a compression force on the washer, compressing the gasket against the exterior surface of the wall of the oil pan. A tool is preferably used to retain the dipstick adapter and keep it from falling into an interior of the oil pan during the repair.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INSTALLING END SEALS
An end seal placement tool for placing an end seal in a host pipe within a manhole includes a pole with opposite proximal and distal ends. An end seal holder is disposed at the distal end of the pole. The end seal holder includes an end seal chamber configured to hold the end seal. The end seal holder is sized and shaped to be at least partially inserted into the host pipe. A launcher is arranged with respect to the end seal holder for ejecting the end seal from the end seal holder into the host pipe.
PACKING SCREW REMOVAL TOOL
A packing screw removal tool for removing packing from a pump fluid end comprising: a tool body; a plurality of packing screw engagement dogs distributed about an axis of rotation about the packing screw removal tool; and a torque transfer engagement post coupled to the tool body. The engagement dogs align with and are releasably connected to radial locations on the packing screw. Applied torque is transferred through a torque transfer engagement post, through the tool body to the engagement dogs and into the packing nut. A second torque transfer engagement post is smaller than the first engagement post. The shape of the tool body allows rotation in limited or confined space. A pump may be serviced at the wellsite by utilizing the packing screw removal tool to unthread the packing screw from the fluid end.
GLAD HAND CONNECTOR TOOL
A tool for use with a glad-hand connector; the tool includes a tool-body having a handle-end and a socket-end. The glad-hand connector includes a glad-hand body having a seal-side and a rear-side, and the socket-end includes an arcuate wall configured to encompass and conform to the rear-side of the glad-hand body. The tool is useful for facilitating coupling of glad hand connectors.
Pack jack system
A shaft assembly has a central rod, a braided cable, and a coupling there between. The coupling receives the lower end of the central rod and the upper end of the braided cable. A fastener has an upper end with a cylindrical extension for coupling with the lower end of the braided cable. A handle has an upper region with a cylindrical extension and a lower region with a cylindrical flange with a left tab and a right tab. A slide hammer is configured to be vertically reciprocable along the shaft assembly. The slide hammer has an upper region with an upper cylindrical flange. The slide hammer has a lower region with a lower cylindrical flange with a lower extension.
HIGH PRESSURE LIQUID-JET SEAL ASSEMBLY CARRIAGE
A disposable seal carriage for use with a liquid jet cutting system can include a body having a first end portion, a longitudinal axis, and a second end portion opposite the first end portion along the longitudinal axis. The first end portion can have a first outer width as measured perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, the second end portion can have a second outer width as measured perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and the first outer width can be greater than the second outer width. The seal carriage can further include a flexible region extending through at least a portion of the body along a portion of the longitudinal axis. In some embodiments, the body includes a plurality of exterior projections positioned between the first and second end portions.
Tool and method for installing a seal by allowing a precompression to join two tubular parts
When coupling tubular parts by fitting, the seal interposed between them may roll on itself, be pinched or damaged. Now, a twisted or damaged seal no longer correctly ensures the seal-tightness and it is very difficult to detect this. The present application discloses a tool for installing a seal between two tubular parts, one male and one female, including a compression ring to encircle the male part and exert a compression on the seal before producing the join. The tool also includes a tongue that can be positioned at a chamfered surface of the female tubular part. The tongue makes it possible to offer the pre-compressed seal with the dimensions of the female part a continuous travel making it possible to prevent any twisting or other effect compromising the seal-tightness.
ADJUSTABLE SEAL PULLER FOR SPINDLE AXLE
The present invention relates to a device for removing a variety of seals from wheel axles. The device is specifically designed to be adjustable such that it can fit and function in a number of different applications. The device is particularly designed to remove the second part of a two piece wheel seal from a spindle type axle. The device provides a fast, simple and easy way to perform this task. It is also compact and portable.
