A light installation tool configured to provide installation of clearance lights and brake lights on a trailer. The light installation tool of the present invention includes a body having a handle and a lever. The lever is pivotally movable with respect to the handle and is operably coupled with a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism is operably coupled with a plunger rod wherein the drive mechanism is operable to provide discrete movements of the plunger rod. A base plate is formed on the body and the base plate includes a light insertion member mounted thereto. The light insertion member has a bottom and a wall contiguously formed to define an interior volume wherein an opening is present distal to the bottom. The wall of the light insertion member is comprised of a plurality of segments wherein the segments are arranged in a longitudinal manner between the opening and the bottom.

An improved brake pad spreader tool has a screw rod separating an impingement plate and an impingement cap. An actuator is affixed to the proximal end and has a polygonal handle portion forming a hand grip and a female receiving socket at a rotational center point of the hand grip. The female receiving socket forms a rectangular recess adapted for attachment to a drive rod of a ratchet wrench or pneumatic impact tool. A tire releasing implement has a lower portion, a center portion, a base, and an upper portion. The upper portion has a slot located at a first end and an aperture located at a second end. The implement is configured to be secured to the wheel of a vehicle, such that the lower portion is capable of engaging a tire and removing the tire from a rim when the vehicle is lowered.

A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed, with a narrow gap between facing pressure plates allowing use of the tool in tight places, and ratcheting spreading of the facing pressure plates causing outward moving of the pistons, enabling work to be performed, wherein movement of a threaded stud through a coupler moves a first pressure plate.

A windshield seal heating method includes the positioning of a heating unit along a seam formed between a windshield and a window opening in a vehicle. The heating unit is turned on such that the heating unit emits heat on the windshield adjacent to the seam such that heat is transferred to adhesive which secures the windshield to the vehicle. The adhesive is heated to a temperature causing the adhesive to soften and facilitate the cutting of the adhesive.
