Method and apparatus for making up a plurality of joints of pipe
A method and apparatus for pulling multiple joints of pie which comprises a pulling section and a pulled section, the method and apparatus working while the joints of pipe are below grade and capable of pulling multiple joints of pipe without relocating the pulling section.

Ventilation device for ventilation of rooms in buildings
A ventilation device for ventilating rooms, has a first air routing device for routing a first flow of air, the routing device having a first room-side outlet, a first flow space in which at least one first fan capable of bidirectional operation is arranged, and a first outside outlet; a second air routing device for routing a second flow of air, which is fluidically completely separate from the first air routing device and has a second room-side outlet, a second flow space in which at least one second fan capable of bidirectional operation is arranged, and a second outside outlet; an integral gas-solid heat exchanger adapted to route the first flow of air and the second flow of air in a respective set of passageways, in a fluidically separated but thermally coupled manner, wherein the solid in the first and the second air routing device additionally forms a respective regenerator.
JOINT PRESS ADAPTER
A slip-on adapter that is adapted to be coupled to existing adapters that have already been developed. The slip-on adapter couples to existing adapters by positive retention on either the outside diameter or inside diameter of the existing adapter. For example, the slip-on adapter can include an O-ring that grips the outside diameter of the existing adapter that it is slipped onto. The slip-on adapter can also be used as a “flip adapter” with different geometries at both ends for use with two different size ball joints. This allows for less expensive adapters for new size ball joints by connecting to existing adapters, rather than requiring full machining of a new adapter.

INSTALLATION TOOL AND SYSTEM FOR ASSEMBLING A GAS TURBINE COMBUSTOR
An apparatus and system for assembling a combustor comprises a push bar including a first end portion that is laterally opposed from a second end portion. A first alignment block and a second alignment block are adjustably coupled to the push bar. A first threaded rod extends through the push bar proximate to the first end portion and a second threaded rod extends through the push bar proximate to the second end portion. The first alignment block and the second alignment block extend outwardly from an aft side of the push bar and are positioned between the first threaded rod and the second threaded rod. The installation tool includes a first nut and a second nut for applying axial force to the push bar.
Tube fitting assembly
A tube fitting for sealing an end of a tube uses a notch formed in the exterior surface of the tube as a sealing seat. An internally threaded body is configured to receive an externally threaded end of a nut, while the body and the nut are mounted in a surrounding relationship to the tube end. A ferrule mounted between the nut and the tube is forced to plastically deform and move into the notch to thereby seal the tube end.
Core pulling tool
A faucet valve cartridge pulling tool comprising a housing, a stem screw, and a collar. The housing has a first end and a second end. The first end has a surface adapted to abut a portion of a faucet valve body. The stem screw has a first end and a second end. The stem screw includes a first threaded section and a second threaded section. The first threaded section is adapted to engage internal threading of a faucet valve cartridge stem located within the faucet valve body. The collar has internal threading engaging the second threaded section of the stem screw. Wherein, rotating the collar relative to the stem screw pulls the first threaded portion axially towards the second end of the housing.
Ball joint press
A ball joint press includes a first frame including a first member and a first adaptor, and a second frame including a second member and a second adaptor. A link is pivotally coupled to the first member and to the second the second member. An actuating screw is rotatably coupled to the first member and to the second member. Rotation of the actuating screw in a first rotational direction causes the first member and second member to undergo a first pivoting action relative to the link to move the first adaptor toward the second adaptor. Rotation of the actuating screw in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction causes the first member and second member to undergo a second pivoting action relative to the link, opposite to the first pivot action, to move the first adaptor away from the second adaptor.
Insert press and related method
An insert press that has a threaded shaft with a distal end is disclosed. An insert driver is disposed at the distal end of the threaded shaft. The insert press also includes a press housing that provides a bore through which the threaded shaft extends. The bore is transformable from a first condition in which the threaded shaft is threadably translatable in the bore to a second condition in which the threaded shaft is non-threadably translatable in the bore.
