A utensil dispenser comprises a housing, a utensil support assembly and a utensil dispensing actuator. The utensil support assembly comprises a skewer for retaining a stack of utensils to be dispensed. The actuator provides for sequential dispensing of the utensils. The utensils are held in alignment on the skewer until they are sequentially dispensed. Dispensing occurs as the utensils are individually removed by the actuator from the skewer where the utensil falls by gravity to an opening at the bottom of the housing for presentation to a user. A retainer member keeps the utensils stored on the skewer until the utensil support assembly is mounted in the housing and the utensils are ready for dispensing.

Packaged Food Product and Method of Producing the Packaged Food Product

A packaged food product includes a container and a food product. The container has a rim and at least one wall extending away from the rim. The at least one wall defines a storage area, and the food product is retained within the storage area such that the food product is in contact with the at least one wall. The at least one wall is readily deformable by a hand of a user to reduce a volume of the storage area. Reducing the volume of the storage area causes the food product to exit the storage area. The container includes an integral tool portion for breaking up the food product after removal from the storage area. The food product can be a wet cat or dog food.

A spiral tine fork is disclosed. The spiral tine fork has a plurality of tines disposed in a spaced apart relation along a distal end of a fork. The plurality of tines includes a plurality of spiral shaped tines in which the tine is twisted about a longitudinal axis of the tine. The tine may be twisted for a plurality of revolutions to define a recess dimensioned to receive a noodle strand. The recesses facilitate retention of the noodle strand on the fork. The spiral tine fork of the present invention can reduce the incidence of soiling clothing or a dining area by retaining the noodles on the spiral tine fork, with or without rotation of the fork.
