Secure electronic device and disassembling tool

A secure electronic device with matching disassembling tool includes a housing and an electronic element. The disassembling tool includes a securing member, a first elastic disassembling member, and a second disassembling member. The securing member is mounted to the housing. The securing member includes an elastic locking block locked to the electronic element. The first elastic disassembling member can reach and be inserted into the securing member. The second disassembling member is inserted in the first disassembling member. When the second disassembling member is then rotated, the first disassembling member is deformed to press the elastic locking block, which unlocks from the electronic element.

A tool for installation and removal of flexible couplings includes a first plate having a hinge member rigidly extending from the first plate and a shaft engaging feature defined in the first plate opposite the hinge member thereof. A second plate has a hinge member rigidly extending from the second plate and a shaft engaging feature defined in the second plate opposite the hinge member thereof. The hinge members of first and second plates are hinged together for rotation of the first and second plates about a hinge axis to actuate the shaft engaging features toward and away from one another.

PORTABLE HAND HELD POWER TOOL WITH INTERCHANGABLE HEAD

Portable, hand held, battery operated, hydraulic tools are provided with a tool frame and one or more interchangeable working heads. When the working head is connected with the tool frame, a piston actuated by a hydraulic system within the tool frame applies force to the working head to perform a task. A coupling mechanism holds the working head to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism allows the working head to be removed from the tool frame and another working head to be joined to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism can hold the working head at a fixed rotational angle with respect to the tool frame. The coupling mechanism can also allow the working head to rotate with respect to the tool frame.

CEILING-MOUNTED ELECTRIC FIXTURE INSTALLATION TOOLS
20170314771 · 2017-11-02 ·

A tool that allows a person to attach a fixture to a ceiling, and do the job on their own, quickly, safely, and without frustration. The tool includes a guiding rod that is selectively attached to the ceiling mounted electric junction box, a fixture support that is movable along the length of the guiding rod, and a lock that secures the fixture support at any of a number of desired positions along the length of the guiding rod. A first embodiment of the tool is used in pairs and includes a threaded cavity at the distal end of the guiding rod that is selectively attachable to one of the pair of holding screws extending down from the junction box. The second embodiment of the tool includes a threaded section on the outside of the distal end that is selectively attachable to a junction box crossbar that has a central threaded opening. The embodiment chosen by the installer depends on the fixture design and the preference of the installer.

TOOL AND METHOD FOR COMPRESSING A STENTED PROSTHESIS

A tool for compressing a stented prosthesis. The tool includes first and second sets of rollers. The first set includes a plurality of rollers arranged to define a first working region having a first working diameter. The second set includes a plurality of rollers arranged to define a second working region having a second working diameter. The sets of rollers are arranged such that the working regions are axially aligned. The first working diameter is greater than the second working diameter. A stented prosthesis traversing the first working region and then the second working region is forced to a compressed state. In some embodiments, the tool includes one or more intermediate sets of rollers between the first and second sets of rollers, with each of the intermediate sets of rollers defining a working region having a working diameter. The respective working diameters progressively decrease in a downstream direction.

INTEGRATED FASTENER FOR INSTRUMENTATION CLUSTER

An integrated fastener for an instrument cluster assembly, where multiple integrated fasteners are used to connect the front cover of the assembly to the back cover. The instrument cluster assembly includes at least one fastener integrated into the back cover, a first recessed portion formed as part of the back cover, and a separation wall formed as part of the back cover in proximity to the first recessed portion. A first mounting aperture is formed as part of the separation wall, and the integrated fastener attached to the back cover and located in the first mounting aperture when the integrated fastener is in a first configuration. The integrated fastener is detached from the back cover and rotated such that the integrated fastener is placed in a second configuration, securing the front cover to the back cover.
