CIRCULAR CLIP PIN CLAMP WITH FIXED SEPARATOR
A pin clamp for the temporary assembly of perforated structural parts, includes a main tubular body extending along a longitudinal axis X and a bearing face intended contact first face of the structural parts, a clip able to pass through opposite perforations, in said parts, the clip being translationally movable along the longitudinal axis, driven by the rotation, about said axis, of a tie rod having a tapped bore engaging a threaded end of the clip, the clip comprising branches, each ending with a catching spur for contacting with a final face of the structural parts, the branches being radially and progressively separable along a separator, placed between the branches and is-fixed relative to the main body, under the effect of the recoil of the clip, the separator comprising a transverse part introduced into a longitudinal groove of the clip and rotationally blocked in a groove provided in an element that is fixed relative to the main body.
CLAMPS FOR FLUID CONDUITS
In the field of air handling, or indeed any type of fluid handling, there is provided clamp, for holding first and second fluid conduits in fluid-tight engagement with one another via respective flanges thereof. The clamp comprises first and second clamp body portions that define corresponding first and second mutually opposed flange engagement formations. The first clamp body portion is slidably received within the second clamp body portion to restrain linearly movement of the first and second flange engagement formations towards and away from one another. The first and second flange engagement formations are resiliently biased towards one another.
Device for applying temporary fasteners
The invention relates to a tool (15) for installing fasteners, said tool comprising: a sheath containing a cylindrical housing (18) with a polygonal base, a roller cage (19) accommodated within said cylindrical housing, said cage comprising: a cylindrical support (33) with a substantially circular base, capable of pivoting within the cylindrical housing. rollers (34) disposed on the perimeter of the support, each roller being able to rotate with respect to said support, a compressing spring (36) exerting a radial force on the rollers in the direction of the main axis, the tool further comprising a restoring member (37) tending to bring the rollers of the cage to face the edges (27) of the cylindrical housing of the sheath.
Fastener and method for operation of said fastener
A fastener is provided herein. The fastener includes, in one example, a block fixedly coupled to an interior spindle and mated with a slot in a threaded retaining spindle as well as a drive nut is threadingly engaged with the threaded retaining spindle and an unthreaded collet is coupled to the threaded retaining spindle. The fastener further includes a body that circumferentially surrounds the block and the threaded retaining spindle and the block, body, and threaded retaining spindle of the fastener are configured to axially translate in relation to one another and are substantially prevented from rotation in relation to one another, during different stages of fastener operation.
Expanding locating pin with controlled holding force
An expanding locating pin assembly configured to locate and hold a part includes a housing, a locating pin, an actuating mechanism, and a controller. The housing is configured with a plurality of radial jaw guides and a part rest face. The locating pin has a plurality of jaws connected to and radially movable in the radial jaw guides and extending past the part rest face. The actuating mechanism synchronously moves the jaws to a radial position and applies a holding force to the part. The controller controls the radial position and the holding force of the jaws. The part rest face of the housing and the jaws of the locating pin are configured to receive the part in a located position. The jaws of the locating pin are configured to hold the part in the located position via the holding force and a friction force resulting from the holding force.
Expanding locating and clamping pin
An expanding locating and clamping pin assembly configured to locate and clamp a part includes a housing, a locating pin, an actuating mechanism, and a controller. The housing is configured with a plurality of radial jaw guides and a part rest face. The locating pin has a plurality of jaws radially movable in the radial jaw guides, extending past the part rest face, and configured with a part clamping feature. The actuating mechanism is connected to the housing and the jaws and is configured to synchronously move the jaws to a radial position and to apply the clamping force. The controller controls the radial position of the jaws and the clamping force. The part rest face and the jaws of the locating pin are configured to receive the part in a located position and to clamp the part in the located position via the clamping force.
HIGH TOLERANCE REMOVABLE BLIND FASTENER
A removable blind fastener includes an anti-rotation body having an external face with an aperture, the external face being suitable for engaging with a surface of a work-piece to be clamped. The fastener further includes a hollow leg member with a plurality of slots defining outwardly biasable resilient legs at one end and an externally threaded portion at the other end, the leg member having a bore tapering towards the legs, the leg member being translatable through the aperture, the leg member and the aperture further having inter-engaging anti-rotation features to prevent the leg member from rotating about its central axis relative to the anti-rotation body. The fastener may further include a thread tube with an internal thread cooperable with the external thread of the leg member and located co-axially with the leg member and a rod member having a shaft with a head end and a free end.
Fastener for the temporary assembly of structures
