POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A powered fastener driver including a housing, an inner frame positioned within the housing, and a workpiece contact assembly coupled to the housing and movable from an extended position to a retracted position in response to contact with a workpiece. The workpiece contact assembly includes a biasing element that biases the workpiece contact assembly into the extended position. The workpiece contact assembly is engageable with the inner frame in response to an applied force that moves the workpiece contact assembly beyond the retracted position.
MAGAZINE FOR POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A powered fastener driver comprising, a housing including a head portion, a handle portion extending therefrom, the handle portion including a first end coupled with the head portion and an opposite, second end, and a drive unit portion, and a canister magazine configured to receive coiled fasteners. At least a portion of the canister magazine is integrally formed as a single piece with at least a portion of the drive unit portion of the housing.
Power tool having latched pusher assembly
A magazine for use with a fastening tool. The magazine can have a pusher assembly that can be retracted into a recess in the magazine to facilitate loading and reloading of fasteners. The pusher assembly can have a pusher assembly knob which can be reversibly latched to a detent to maintain the pusher assembly in a retracted state. The fastening tool can use a magazine which can be reloaded by a method which has a step of reversibly retracting the pusher assembly into the retracted state to allow for feeding one or more fasteners to the magazine.
SEPARATING DEVICE, MAGAZINE ATTACHMENT AND FASTENING SYSTEM
A separating device for separating a fastening element from a fastening element strip is provided, having a receptacle, in which the fastening element is received, wherein the fastening element defines a fastening direction, in which the fastening element is provided for being driven into an underlying surface; a transfer channel for transfer of the fastening element strip in a transfer direction, wherein the transfer channel has a separating section; a stop element, which has a stop position, in which the stop element projects into the transfer channel and forms a stop for the fastening element in the transfer direction when the fastening element is arranged in the separating section; and a passage position, in which the stop element is arranged outside the transfer channel and allows movement of the fastening element beyond the separating section in the transfer direction.
Active safety sensing device and method for a fastner tool
An active safety device and method for fastener tools that includes a first sensor that detects a hazardous target; a first driver that drives the fastener a minimal distance into the material, the fastener being conductive and acting as a second sensor; a second driver that drives the fastener into the material; a processor that receives information from the first sensor and determines if a hazardous target is detected by said first sensor and engages a trigger interlock if the hazardous target is not detected the first driver is engaged and said second sensor provides information on the composition of the material to the processor; wherein the processor engages the trigger interlock when it determines if the composition of the material is classified as a hazardous target and otherwise initiates the second driver to drive the fastener into the material.
Energy storage mechanism and nail gun having same
An energy storage mechanism and a nail gun having the same. The nail gun includes a driving mechanism having a piston, a nail striking member co-movably connected to the piston, and a driving member being operably alternatively engaged and disengaged with the nail striking member. The energy storage mechanism includes a cylinder and at least one spring disposed in the cylinder such that an engagement of the driving member with the nail striking member causes the piston to move backward in the cylinder to push the at least one spring into a contract state so as to store energy therein, and an disengagement of the driving member with the nail striking member causes the least one spring to release the stored energy therein to push the piston to move frontward in the cylinder so that the nail striking member is co-moved therewith to strike a nail out of a muzzle.
WORKING TOOL
A working tool includes a magazine unit in which a plurality of connected fasteners are stored in a rolled shape, an ejection unit to which the fastener is fed, a driver blade configured to strike the fastener held in the ejection unit to one side in a first direction, an electric motor configured to drive the driver blade by receiving an electric power, a feeder unit capable of moving in a second direction crossing the first direction and configured to feed the fastener stored in the magazine unit to the ejection unit by moving to one side in the second direction, a solenoid configured to drive the feeder unit by receiving an electric power, and a control unit configured to allow the solenoid to drive when a load of the electric motor satisfies a first condition.
WORK MACHINE
In a driver machine 10, a blank firing prevention mechanism 100 has a feeder position sensor 105 that detects the prohibition position of a feeder 64 of a magazine 60. When a control unit 20 detects the prohibition position of the feeder 64 on the basis of a detection signal from the feeder position sensor 105, the control unit 20 prohibits driving of a motor 52. Thus it is possible to prevent blank firing of a striking part 44. The feeder position sensor 105 is provided to an ejection part 34. Thus it is unnecessary for a wire, which connects the control unit 20 and the feeder position sensor 105, to be extended to the outside of a housing 14, in comparison with a structure in which the feeder position sensor 105 is provided in a magazine case 62 of the magazine 60.
PIPE CLAMP, PIPE CLAMP DRIVER AND ANTI-BACKDRIVE MECHANISM
A power tool including a housing and a motor housed in the housing. There is a spring engine housed in the housing and a driver blade driven by the spring engine. Additionally, the power tool holds a pipe clamp configured to be driven into a workpiece by the driver blade.
