Fastener-driving tool including a reversion trigger with a damper
A fastener-driving tool is provided and includes a housing and a workpiece-contacting element movably connected to the housing, where the workpiece-contacting element is movable between a rest position and an activated position. A trigger is movably connected to the housing such that the trigger is movable between a rest position and an activated position. The tool further includes an actuation lever movably connected to the trigger and movable between a rest position and an activated position. A damper mechanism is associated with the actuation lever and is configured to control a rate of movement of the actuation lever between the activated position and the rest position.
DRIVING-IN DEVICE
An apparatus for driving a fastening element in a driving direction into a base material, having a receptacle for the fastening element, from which the fastening element is driven into the base material, having a magazine for supplying fastening elements in a transport direction to the receptacle, wherein the side of the magazine facing the driving direction has a slot which runs in the transport direction, and having a dust deflector which covers the slot.
DRIVING-IN DEVICE
An apparatus for driving a fastening element into a base material, comprising a power unit and a driving element which is provided driven by the power unit in a driving direction from a starting position into a setting position to drive a fastening element into the base material; a braking element with a contact surface which defines the setting position of the driving element and against which the driving element lies in the setting position; a pressing element which has an end surface which can be pressed in the driving direction onto the base material, wherein, in the driving direction, the end surface and the contact surface are at a distance from each other which defines a driving depth of the fastening element into the base material; and, an adjustment device with which the distance between the end surface and the contact surface can be adjusted.
FORCED AIR COOLING FROM PISTON MOVEMENTS OF NAILER TOOL
A fastener driving tool that forces air from its variable venting volume beneath the piston of the working cylinder and directs that forced air through passageways and toward an electronic controller and/or an electric motor before being vented to atmosphere, thereby drawing heat away from those components during an operational cycle of the movable piston. When the piston returns to its initial position, environmental air is drawn through the same passageways, again past the electronic controller and/or electric motor, thereby twice cooling these “hot” components during a single operational cycle.
POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A powered fastener driver including a housing defining a cylinder support portion, a drive unit support portion, and a handle portion that is spaced apart from the drive unit support portion. The powered fastener driver includes a cylinder, a piston movable within the cylinder from a top-dead-center (TDC) position to a bottom-dead-center (BDC) position, a driver blade attached to the piston for movement therewith along a driving axis from the TDC position toward the BDC position, a lifter operable to move the piston and driver blade, in unison, from the BDC position toward the TDC position, and a drive unit supported by the drive unit support portion and operably coupled to the lifter. The powered fastener driver further includes a user interface supported by the housing, and a printed circuit board positioned within the housing and positioned between the drive unit support portion and the handle portion.
Nail gun
A nail gun includes a power module, a magazine module and a detection module. The power module performs a nail-driving operation by receiving a first pressure, and is prevented from receiving the first pressure when the power module is subjected to a second pressure. The detection module includes a valve rod and a detection member operable to pivot between an unsealing position and a sealing position. The detection member is moved to the sealing position when the number of the nails in the magazine module is less than a predetermined amount.
NAIL GUN EXTENSION
An extension for a nail gun includes a holder sized and configured to receive the nail gun. The extension includes an actuator, which is coupled to the holder. The extension includes a handle, which includes a trigger. The trigger of the handle is operably coupled to the actuator such that in response to actuation of the trigger of the handle, the actuator is configured to actuate a trigger of the nail gun. The extension includes an elongated connector disposed between the holder and the handle.
POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A pneumatic fastener driver operable in a single sequential mode and a bump-fire mode, and includes a housing, a nosepiece, a trigger moveable between a default position and a depressed position, a contact arm movable relative to the nosepiece between an extended position and a retracted position, and a timeout mechanism operable in the bump-fire mode to inhibit the drive cycle from being initiated in response to inactivity of the contact arm over a preset time interval defined by unwinding of a mainspring that is initially wound in response to the trigger being actuated from the default position to the depressed position. The pneumatic fastener driver also includes a counting assembly having a female barrel pivotably coupled to a pivot shaft of the trigger and driven by the mainspring and a lockout linkage coupled to the female barrel that is capable of interfering with a portion of the trigger.
Driving tool
A driving tool drives a fastener by a striking mechanism. The driving tool includes a trigger, a contact arm, a contact lever and a regulator. The trigger and the contact arm receive manipulations which operate the striking mechanism. The contact lever is movable according to operations of the trigger and the contact arm and switches operating states of the striking mechanism. The regulator regulates a movement of the contact lever according to a movement of the contact arm in which another manipulation is released. The regulator operates with a fluid for operating the striking mechanism, and keeps the contact lever at an operation standby position where the contact lever is operated by manipulation of the contact arm for a predetermined time period by controlling a flow rate of the fluid.
Pneumatic nail gun with safety control chamber
A pneumatic nail gun comprises a working piston connected to a driving ram that is configured to drive in a fastening means and is pressurized by air when a driving process is initiated. A hand-operated trigger and a contact sensor. Simultaneous actuation of the hand-operated trigger and contact sensor activates a first control valve and initiates the driving process if the pressure in a safety control chamber is above a given pressure threshold. A second control valve is configured to be activated upon actuation of the trigger. The safety control chamber is continuously de-aerated via a throttle and is separated from a pressurized casing interior when the second control valve is activated.
