20170361441 · 2017-12-21 ·

A fastener driver including a main housing, a drive blade movable from a retracted position to a driven position for driving a fastener into a workpiece, and a gas spring mechanism for driving the drive blade from the retracted position to the driven position. The gas spring mechanism includes a cylinder housing containing a pressurized gas, and a piston movable relative to the cylinder housing and biased by the pressurized gas from a retracted position toward a driven position. The cylinder housing is displaceable along a longitudinal axis of the piston relative to the main housing and away from the drive blade, while the piston remains stationary relative to the main housing, to reduce the pressure of the pressurized gas within the cylinder housing.

Cylindrical Integrated Valve Assembly

A pneumatic fastening tool that has an integrated valve assembly. The integrated valve assembly can have a cylindrical valve assembly housing that can house a portion of a head valve assembly and can also house at least a portion of a trigger valve assembly. The head valve assembly can have a head valve body that can be maintained in a resting state by compressed air. The compressed air that maintains the resting stat of the head valve assembly can be provided by one or more passages formed in the valve assembly housing. The valve assembly housing can also guide the movement of the valve head body when the trigger valve assembly is actuated causing a fastener to be driven into a workpiece. The valve assembly housing can have a circular exhaust seal and a cylindrical exhaust chamber through which compressed air can be exhausted after the driving of a fastener into a work piece.

ELECTRIC NAIL GUN

An electric nail gun includes a cylinder unit, a valve, an actuating member, a safety assembly and an adjusting assembly. The cylinder unit defines a cylinder space and a gas space. The valve is disposed between the cylinder space and the gas space, and is movable among a closed position, in which the valve closes the cylinder space, and a plurality of open positions. The safety assembly has a pressing portion that is adapted to be pressed and moved by an object, and an actuating portion that cooperates with the actuating member to define a first actuating distance in a first direction therebetween. When the pressing portion is moved by the object, the actuating member is urged to move by the actuating portion such that the valve moves from the closed position to one of the open positions. The adjusting assembly is operable to adjust the first actuating distance.

Cylinder assembly for gas spring fastener driver

A gas spring-powered fastener driver includes a cylinder, a moveable piston positioned within the cylinder, and a driver blade attached to the piston and moveable therewith from a retracted position to a driven position to drive a fastener into a workpiece. A fill valve is coupled to the cylinder and operable to selectively fill the cylinder with gas to a pressure.

Nosepiece latch mechanism for a fastening tool

The invention relates to a drive-in device, comprising a drive-in piston which is guided in a cylinder for driving a nail element into a workpiece and comprising a combustion chamber which is arranged over the drive-in piston and which can be filled with a combustion gas, said combustion chamber comprising a cylindrical portion which is symmetrical about a central axis (A). A movable combustion chamber wall of the combustion chamber can be adjusted along the central axis (A), and a spring is supported between the movable combustion chamber wall and a housing. A force vector (F) of the spring has a lateral offset (V) with respect to the central axis (A).

Nail-driving gun trigger assembly with safety latch
09833889 · 2017-12-05 ·

A nail-driving gun trigger assembly includes a hand-grip, a trigger piece, a safety latch and a release button. The safety latch is mounted on the trigger piece and is movable relative to the trigger piece. The release button is mounted on the trigger piece and is movable relative to the trigger piece. The release button and the safety latch are co-movable with the trigger piece relative to the hand-grip. The trigger piece is stopped from moving by engagement between the safety latch and the hand-grip. The release button is in sliding contact with the safety latch for disengaging the safety latch from the hand-grip and for permitting movement of the trigger piece relative to the hand-grip.

DRIVE-IN DEVICE HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE COMBUSTION CHAMBER

The invention relates to a drive-in device, comprising a drive-in piston, guided in a cylinder, for driving a nail member into a workpiece, and a combustion chamber arranged above the drive-in piston, said combustion chamber being Tillable with a combustion gas, wherein the combustion chamber has a bottom that is adjustable along an axis, wherein the bottom has a groove that extends in the circumferential direction and has an inserted seal which bears in a radial direction against a rigid combustion-chamber wall, wherein a front surface, in the axial direction, of the seal protrudes in the direction of the axis from a terminating plane of the groove.

The invention relates to a nail device for setting nails into an object, comprising a housing, a setting mechanism for setting the nail along a setting axis, a bolt-guiding element for contacting on the object at a first contact point, in particular a trigger for activating the setting mechanism, a swivelable support foot for contacting on the object at a second contact point, wherein a connecting line between the first and the second contact point and the setting axis span a device plane of the nail device, characterised in that the swivel axis of the support foot is oriented substantially perpendicular to the device plane.

NAIL DRIVE METHOD OF ELECTRIC NAIL GUN
20230182276 · 2023-06-15 ·

A nail drive method applied in an electric nail gun, in which a rotary actuator is driven to generate forward rotational kinetic energy for nailing. The rotary actuator has paired wire bundles and magnetic lines arranged in circumferential directions. The nail drive method comprises boosting a pre-loaded voltage of a battery to generate a peak voltage, and storing the electric charge generated by the peak voltage, and then releasing the peak voltage and its electric charge to the rotary actuator through a nailing signal, so that the wire bundles can generate a current to interact with the magnetic lines to generate a tangential force, so that the magnetic lines can drive the rotor to rotate for a specific angle, and the rotary actuator can directly generate a forward rotational kinetic energy for nailing. Thus, the energy conversion structure installed in the conventional electric nail gun can be omitted.
