The present invention relates to a battery-operated non pneumatic plier stapler for accurately and effectively applying staple fasteners onto a surface. The plier stapler includes a rechargeable battery pack secured into a battery slot for providing electric power to a driver piston assembly. The battery pack is removably mounted to the battery socket and can be replaced with another battery pack. The stapler further includes a laser sight to indicate precise staple placement during application, thereby enabling accurate stapling operation. A magazine stores staples and the staples are biased towards nose using springs and rollers. The clencher clutches legs of individual staples to finish the stapling process. The stapler is cordless and obviates the need to use air compressors to apply staples, thereby eliminating limits on movement, air supply, and other factors.

SURGICAL INSTRUMENT WITH VARIABLE DURATION TRIGGER ARRANGEMENT

A motorized surgical instrument is disclosed. The surgical instrument includes a displacement member, a motor coupled to displacement member, a control circuit coupled to the motor, a parameter sensor coupled to the control circuit and a position sensor coupled to the control circuit. The control circuit is configured to receive a parameter output of the parameter sensor indicative of a force applied to translate the displacement member, determine a duration during which the parameter output is maintained at or above a predetermined fault threshold, receive a position output of the position sensor indicative of at least one position of the displacement member during the duration, and effect a motor control action based on the duration and the at least one position.

DRIVING MECHANISM AND NAIL GUN HAVING SAME

A driving mechanism and a nail gun having the same. The driving mechanism includes a driving force supply unit comprising a frame structure having a front limiting seat and a rear limiting seat; a piston movably arranged between the front limiting seat and the rear limiting seat in the frame structure; a striker co-movably connected to the piston; and a spring assembly disposed between the piston and the rear limiting seat in the frame structure, configured such that when the piston is driven to move backward in the frame structure, the spring assembly is pushed into a contract state to store energy therein, and when the piston is free, the spring assembly expands to release the stored energy therein to push the piston to move forward in the frame structure so that the striker is co-moved therewith to strike a nail out of a muzzle.

Staples feeder assembly with concealed slider for pneumatic fastener magazine

The present invention consists of the complete integration of a self arming controlled action pneumatic fastener magazine slider (pusher and feeder) within the two legs of a stack of U-shape staples on a magazine support rail, thanks to the interplay of two pairs of releasably interlocking sensor and keys fastener pusher elements. In one embodiment of the invention, the slider system is self-arming and fits within an elbowed magazine for receiving fasteners, but works along the straight portion of the magazine. This slider system will accommodate elongated magazine holding a larger number of fasteners. The slider system will decrease the time required for fastener reloading by simplifying operations and enabling a greater flexibility for the operator. A fastener retention device may be provide to the fastener pusher, defining an operative mode active with a large storage load of fasteners into the magazine, and a inoperative mode triggered when the load of magazine feeders decreases below a threshold value.

In a rack and pinion mechanism 80, a driving-side pinion gear 83 and a driven-side pinion gear 86 are provided to be coaxially rotatable relative to each other within a predetermined angle range. Because of this construction, in a case where a time when a driver 3 reaches an advancing end position and contacts an advancing end damper 19 deviates from a time when a weight device 5 reaches a retracting end position and contacts a moving end damper 7, an excessive external force is not applied to engaging teeth 81a and 82a by relative rotation of the pinion gears 83 and 86. Thus, due to this construction, durability of the rack and pinion mechanism 80, where end impacts are absorbed through elastic deformation, is improved.
