Magazine with lockback pusher for use with stapling device
A fastener magazine of a fastening device may include a track defining an elongated channel with a dispensing end at which fasteners are dispensed from the magazine. A runner positioned in the track may include a release member that projects outward from an outer surface of the runner. A pusher may be positioned in the track and coupled to the runner such that the pusher exerts a force in a direction toward the dispensing end of the track on the fasteners when the runner is in a closed position. A retention member that is attached to a side wall of the track can engage the pusher through an aperture in the track to prevent the pusher from contacting the fasteners until the runner has reached a desired position in the track. The release member can contact the retention member to disengage the retention member from the pusher.
Fastener-driving tool including a driving device
A fastener-driving tool including a housing, a driving device associated with the housing and including a driver blade, a biasing member and a coupler attached to the driver blade and the biasing member, and a compound gear rotatably attached to the housing and in engagement with the coupler, where the compound gear is configured to rotate between a first position and a second position. The compound gear is rotated to the first position to move and secure the biasing member in a biased position when the driver blade is in a pre-drive position, and upon actuation, the biasing member is released from the biased position and biases the compound gear to move to the second position thereby causing the driver blade to move to a driven position for driving a fastener.
Stapling Device
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a battery-powered stapling tool.
STAPLE PUSHER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF INSTALLING SAME
A stapler includes a base, a magazine coupled to the base and configured to house staples, and a staple pusher assembly coupled with the magazine and operable to bias staples in the magazine toward a first end of the magazine where staples are driven out of the magazine. The staple pusher assembly includes a staple pusher defining a cavity, and a constant force spring having a first end coupled to the magazine and a second end that is coiled within the cavity in the staple pusher.
Adhesive film laminate
A surgical stapler, or fastening instrument, may generally comprise a layer, such as a tissue thickness compensator, for example, releasably attached to a fastener cartridge and/or anvil by a flowable attachment portion. The flowable attachment portion may be indefinitely flowable. The flowable attachment portion may be flowable from the time that layer is installed to the fastener cartridge to the time in which the layer is implanted to patient tissue. The flowable attachment portion may comprise a pressure sensitive adhesive. The flowable attachment portion may comprise an adhesive laminate comprising a base layer comprising the tissue thickness compensator and an adhesive layer on at least a portion of a surface of the base layer comprising the pressure sensitive adhesive. Articles of manufacture comprising flowable attachment portion and methods of making and using the flowable attachment portion are also described.
SLAP HAMMER WITH CAP DISPENSER
A cap hammer for driving a staple through a cap into a work surface. The cap hammer includes a staple magazine configured to hold a plurality of staples, a cap magazine disposed beneath the staple magazine and configured to hold a horizontal stack of caps, an internal guide body disposed at a forward end of the cap hammer, a cap driver blade disposed within the internal guide body configured to shear a cap from the stack of caps, a staple driver blade disposed within the internal guide body configured to shear a staple from the plurality of staples, and a work contact element disposed at the forward end of the cap hammer and configured to activate the cap driver blade and the staple driver blade when depressed against a work surface.
Stapler
A stapler is provided, including: a main body, having a front end and a rear end; a magazine, disposed in the main body having an outlet end; a striker, disposed in the main body and located between the front end and the outlet end along the longitudinal direction; a driving mechanism, connected to the striker to optionally drive the striker to strike the staple; a pressing element, located in the main body and between the striker and the outlet end along the longitudinal direction, the pressing element being movable between an original position and a pressed position, the original position being higher than the pressed position, the pressing element having a tendency to stay on the original position, when the pressing element is located on the pressed position, the pressing element presses the staples which are exposed outside the outlet end of the magazine.
Electric stapler
An electric stapler includes a base and a press portion articulated to the base. The press portion is provided with, from down to up, a staple channel assembly configured to receive a staple, a staple pressing plate assembly configured to press the staple and a drive assembly in sequence. The position of the drive assembly is fixed relative to the press portion. The staple channel assembly and the staple pressing plate assembly are rotatable relative to the press portion. The drive assembly includes a power unit and an execution component connected to the power unit to press or raise the staple pressing plate assembly. The above electric stapler addresses the technical issues that the staple channel cannot reset automatically after the staple is stuck and it is difficult to clear away a failed staple.

Magazine assembly and a stapler including the same
A magazine assembly and a stapler including the same are provided. The magazine assembly includes a base and a rail assembly. The base has a first end portion and a second end portion. A direction from the second end portion toward the first end portion is defined as a first direction. The rail assembly is disposed on the base and adapted for a staple unit to slidably abut thereagainst along the first direction. The rail assembly includes a first rail and a second rail which are separate. A first side wall of the first rail has at least one guide portion extending in the first direction. Each guide portion is adapted for a head of a T-shaped staple to slidably engage therewithalong the first direction. The second rail is adapted for a U-shaped staple to abut thereagainst.
