DEAD BLOW HAMMER HEAD
A hammer head with an internal cavity including weights that are sized to restrict the weights from escaping from a crack in the hammer or are easily collected and accounted for should the hammer separate to ensure foreign objects and debris do not contaminate sensitive work spaces. The weights are shaped to allow the weights to longitudinally move in the internal cavity. The weights may take the form of a number of different shapes.

VIBRATION DAMPER FOR HAND-OPERATED STRIKING TOOLS
A striking tool has a vibration damper in the form of a vibration damping core located between a top end of the hand and a head thereof, and an overstrike assembly in the form of an overstrike sleeve located over the core below the head.
Adjustable weight dead blow hammer
The present invention is an adjustable weight dead blow hammer comprising a hollow head filled with an acceptable fill material. A handle is connected to the head wherein the handle has a hollow chamber that traversers the length of the handle and has an opening into the head. The weight of the hammer head may be adjusted by moving the fill material between the head and the hollow chamber in the handle. Adjustment may be accomplished by a corkscrew device which is disposed within the hollow chamber and having a screw tip at the opening and c screw head on an outside portion of a bottom end of the handle. The corkscrew device within the hollow chamber moves the fill material between the head and the handle. More fill material in the head increases the force of impact, and less fill material in the head decreases the force of impact.
Hammer
A hammer is provided that includes a handle, a head, a striking insert, and a claw. The hammer provides for a head with a keyed hole to couple to a keyed projection on a striking insert. The head also includes a dovetail projection that couples to the dovetail connection of the claw. Each component may comprise a different material. For example, the striking insert and the claw comprise one material, and the handle and the head comprise another material. In some embodiments, a slotted punch with a magnetic retainer creates a bore through the face of the head and the striking insert to support a fastener (e.g., a nail) within the head.
Striking implement cap
A striking cap that may include a distal end configured to strike a foreign object. The striking cap may also include a proximal end opposite the distal end. The proximal end may include a protruding ring, where the protruding ring forms a cavity. The cavity may be configured to enable the striking cap to be attached to a striking implement. The proximal medial edge of the protruding ring may include a beveled surface.

DEAD BLOW SLIDE HAMMER
A dead blow slide hammer body with a through bore that receives and slides on a shaft. The hammer body includes one-or-more internal longitudinal cavities, lateral to the through bore, filled with a dampening material. When the hammer body sliding on the shaft strikes a slide stop, the dampening material creates a “dead blow” effect, increasing the duration of impact, while insulating a user from the shock.

Multi-Use Hammer Device and Method
A slide and pull hammer device includes three major components, namely, a guide sleeve, a drive bar and an impact head. The drive bar is inserted within the guide sleeve. The impact head is secured within the distal end of the guide sleeve, and has a portion which protrudes beyond the guide sleeve distal end. The drive bar is operable to impact both a distal end and a proximal end of the guide sleeve to apply force to objects in at least two opposite force directions. One force applied by the device includes a hammering or compression force, and another force applied by the device includes a tension or withdrawing force.
