Rotary hammer
According to an aspect of the present invention there is provided a rotary hammer comprising an electric motor having its longitudinal axis perpendicular to the axis of the hammer spindle and the tool holder. A single switching arrangement activates and deactivates the hammer mechanism and the rotary drive mechanism for the tool holder. The switching arrangement has a cam portion acting on a coupling part to activate and deactivate the hammer drive mechanism, and acting on a slider part to engage and disengage a coupling sleeve with a drive sleeve to thereby activate and deactivate the rotary drive mechanism of the hammer spindle. The switching arrangement comprises a gear train disposed between the switching element and the cam portion.

DRIVE ASSEMBLY FOR A POWER TOOL
An anvil configured to be impacted by a hammer in an impact wrench. The anvil defines a rotational axis. The anvil includes an anvil lug having a driven surface engageable with the hammer. The driven surface includes an involute profile. The involute profile is formed by a base cylinder defining a central axis. The central axis is offset from the rotational axis of the anvil.

IMPACT TOOL
An impact driver or impact tool includes a motor, a motor housing that houses the motor, a grip housing integrally provided with the motor housing, a hammer case is disposed frontward of the motor housing, a spindle rotated by the motor, a hammer housed inside the hammer case and configured to be rotated by the spindle, and an anvil housed inside the hammer case which anvil is configured to be impacted by the hammer. In this impact driver, a length from a rear end of the motor housing to a front end of the anvil (i.e., the front-rear length of a main body) is less than 128 mm.
Impact tool
An impact tool includes a brushless motor having a rotor extending in a front-rear direction and disposed in a motor housing constituted by left, right and rear motor housings. A battery pack is disposed below the motor housing in an up-down direction. A plurality of first screws extend in a left-right direction and fix the left motor housing to the right motor housing. A plurality of second screws extend in the front-rear direction and fix the rear motor housing to the left and right motor housings. A fan is disposed between the rotor and the rear motor housing, a grip housing is disposed downward of the motor housing, and a planetary gear mechanism is disposed frontward of the motor. A spindle is disposed frontward of the planetary gear mechanism, a hammer is disposed on an outer circumference of the spindle, and an anvil is disposed frontward of the hammer.
Machine tool
A machine tool is disclosed. The machine tool has a tool receptacle for receiving a tool on a working axis, a housing, and a striking mechanism. An impact stop is provided for a beater or an intermediate beater. An impact absorber has two polymer-based absorber rings that are offset axially to one another and are disposed so that they overlap radially and has two iron-based disks disposed axially between the absorber rings.
