A gear adjusting device for an electric impact device, comprising a front gearbox housing, a torsional cover rotationally sleeved at the top of the front gearbox housing, a reduction mechanism disposed at the bottom of the front gearbox housing and a tripping structure disposed within the torsional cover. The tripping structure consists of an adjusting screw, a tripping cushion, an adjusting ring and an impact conversion cushion. The adjusting ring can lock the tripping cushion and the impact conversion cushion. The torsional cover and the adjusting ring are provided with corresponding upper bosses and lower bosses, so the torsional cover drives the adjusting ring to rotate during anticlockwise rotation and when the torsional cover rotates clockwise, the adjusting ring does not rotate. Therefore, gear switching can be conducted when the torsional cover is rotated anticlockwise, achieving the effects of short adjustment stroke and quick switching.

Hammer drill

A hammer drill includes a housing, a first ratchet fixed to the housing, a spindle rotatably supported by the housing about an axis, and a second ratchet coupled for co-rotation with the spindle. The second ratchet is engageable with the first ratchet in response to rearward displacement of the spindle to impart a hammering action on the spindle. The hammer drill further includes a thrust bearing having an arm extending away from the axis, and a selector ring having a post extending toward the arm. The selector ring is rotatable between a first position in which the post is engageable with the arm to limit the rearward displacement of the spindle and prevent engagement of the first and second ratchets, and a second position in which the post is misaligned with the arm to permit the rearward displacement of the spindle and engagement of the first and second ratchets.

An impact tool includes a tool body, a tool holder, a cylindrical member, a reciprocating member, a motor, a first rotary body, a second rotary body, a swinging member, and clutch mechanisms. The clutch mechanisms are disposed between the first rotary body and the second rotary body on a power transmission path from the motor to the swinging member. The tool holder and the cylindrical member move together as a movable unit with respect to the tool body between a front end position and a separate position, according to a pressing force applied to the tool holder. The clutch mechanisms are each configured to start transmission of the first rotary body to the second rotary body while the movable unit moves from the front end position to the separate position and to interrupt transmission while the movable unit moves from the separate position to the front end position.

A rotary hammer selectively operates in multiple modes including a first mode and a second mode. The rotary hammer includes a switch, a motor, a switch manipulation member, a locking member, and a mode detecting device. The switch manipulation member includes a body, and a protrusion that is movable between a protruding position and a retracted position. The body houses a solenoid configured to operate based on a detection result of the mode detecting device. The locking member is movable between an unlock position and a lock position where the locking member holds the switch manipulation member in an ON position by abutting the protrusion in the protruding position. The protrusion is integrated with a plunger of the solenoid. The protrusion is configured to be in the protruding position when the present mode is the first mode, and in the retracted position when the present mode is the second mode.
