The power tool includes a housing, a brushless direct current (DC) motor, a trigger, a work light, a wireless communication circuit configured to wirelessly communicate with the external device to receive the configuration data, and a second controller configured to control a work light duration of the work light based on the work light duration parameter value, and control a work light brightness of the work light based on the work light brightness parameter value.

HAND-HELD POWER TOOL

A hand-held power tool having a motor-driven impact mechanism and monostable operating button. A locking switch for the monostable operating button has a sliding direction, an actuating knob, a catch and a sliding block, wherein the actuating knob is able to be moved by the user in the sliding direction from a releasing position to a locking position. The catch is pivotable in a pivoting direction perpendicular to the switching direction between a first position and a second position. The catch is disengaged from the operating button 6 in the first position and the catch engages in the operating button in the second position, arresting the operating button in the pressed position. The catch has, on a side facing in the pivoting direction, a slotted-guide face that is inclined with respect to the sliding direction. The sliding block bears on the slotted-guide face.

HAMMER DRILL AND SET TOOL DEVICE

A power tool that can switch from a hammer drill to a set tool for placing anchors in a surface such as concrete. Changing from a rotating drill to set tool bits is done by a two finger snap lock handle on the top of the drill. A magazine attachable to the power tool contains a plurality of anchors allowing the user of the power tool to set more than one anchor without having to manually place each anchor in the power tool.

A rotary tool includes a motor, a final output shaft, a housing, a detecting mechanism, an interrupting mechanism and a solenoid. The motor includes a motor body and a motor shaft. The final output shaft is configured to be rotationally driven by torque transmitted from the motor shaft. The housing houses the motor and the final output shaft. The detecting mechanism is configured to detect a motion state of the housing. The interrupting mechanism is provided on a transmission path of the torque from the motor shaft to the final output shaft, and configured to interrupt transmission of the torque. The solenoid includes a linearly movable actuation part and is configured to mechanically actuate the interrupting mechanism via the actuation part based on the motion state of the housing detected by the detecting mechanism.

Work tool

A work tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a housing, a handle, a detecting mechanism and an elastic support part. The detecting mechanism is configured to detect information corresponding to an operating state of the work tool. The elastic support part supports the detecting mechanism so as to be movable relative to the housing in at least two of a front-rear direction, an up-down direction and a left-right direction. The elastic support part includes at least one elastic member disposed between the detecting mechanism and the housing. The elastic support part has respectively different spring constants in the at least two directions.

A work tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a body housing and a handle. The driving mechanism is configured to perform an operation of linearly reciprocating the tool accessory along a driving axis extending in a front-rear direction. The handle includes a grip part extending substantially in an up-down direction, and a battery-mounting part provided on a lower side of the grip part. An upper end portion of the handle is connected to a rear end portion of the body housing via an elastic member so as to be movable relative to the body housing. A lower end portion of the handle is connected to the rear end portion of the body housing so as to be rotatable relative to the body housing, around a rotation axis extending in a left-right direction. The rotation axis is located on a lower side of the battery-mounting part.

ROTARY HAMMER

A rotary hammer includes a motor, a manipulation member, a main switch, a mode-switching member, a first locking member and a second locking member. The first locking member is configured to selectively lock the manipulation member in an OFF position according to a switching position of the mode-switching member. The second locking member is configured to selectively lock the manipulation member in an ON position according to the switching position of the mode-switching member. The first locking member is allowed to lock the manipulation member in the OFF position both when a hammer mode has been selected and when a drill mode has been selected. The motor is allowed to be driven in a state in which the manipulation member is locked in the ON position by the second locking member only when the hammer mode has been selected.

POWER TOOL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A power tool communication system including an external device including a first controller configured to transmit, via wireless communication to a power tool, configuration data including a work light duration parameter value and a work light brightness parameter value.

A system includes first and second power tools that each have a percussion mechanism, a motor, and a transmission. The transmission includes a striking mechanism and is configured to transfer a driving motion of the motor to an insert tool held in a tool holder. The transmission has a guide tube that is identical in some regions along a working axis and accommodates a striker. The guide tube is rotatably coupled to the motor by a first transmission unit. The striker is driven to linearly oscillate by a piston of a second transmission unit. A ratio between a diameter of the tool holder and a diameter of the guide tube is 1.8 times greater in the first power tool than in the second power tool. A striking energy of the second power tool is mechanically reduced compared to a striking energy of the first power tool.
