HAMMER DRILL
20220258320 · 2022-08-18 · ·

A hammer drill includes a housing inside which a motor, a tubular tool holder, a driving mechanism, a rotation conversion member, and an inner housing are disposed. The driving mechanism is configured to perform at least one of rotation actuation of the tool holder and hammering actuation of a bit. The inner housing supports the driving mechanism, supports the tool holder via a first bearing, and supports an output shaft via a second bearing. The inner housing is divided into a front housing holding the first bearing and a rear housing that is formed in a separate body from the front housing and holds the second bearing. The inner housing is formed by connecting the front housing to the rear housing in an axis line direction of the tool holder. A seal member sealing outside space of the inner housing inside the housing is disposed in the front housing.

IMPACT TOOL

An impact tool includes a housing; and a motor, a tubular tool holder, a driving mechanism, a rotation shaft, a driving mechanism housing region inside the housing. The tool holder has a distal end on which a bit is mountable. The driving mechanism is configured to hammer the bit. The rotation shaft is disposed in the driving mechanism and rotates by a rotation of an output shaft of the motor. The driving mechanism housing region houses the driving mechanism in a sealed state inside the housing. The air escape path that releases air inside the driving mechanism housing region to outside of the driving mechanism housing region is formed inside the rotation shaft while an inlet of the air escape path is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the rotation shaft.

POWER TOOL HAVING A HAMMER MECHANISM

The power tool includes: a handle; a biasing member for biasing the handle in a direction away from a final output shaft in the axial direction; at least one guiding member disposed between a housing and a first part of the handle so as to extend in the axial direction and configured to slidably guide relative movement between the handle and the housing; and at least one elastic member disposed at least one of between the at least one guiding member and the housing and between the at least one guiding member and the first part of the handle. The at least one guiding member is disposed so as to be movable relative to the housing or the handle in a crossing direction that crosses the axial direction by elastic deformation of the at least one elastic member in the crossing direction.

POWER TOOL HAVING A HAMMER MECHANISM

A movable support at least partially supports a final output shaft and a driving mechanism, and is integrally movable relative to a housing in an axial direction of a driving axis. A biasing member biases the movable support toward a front side in the axial direction. A first guide shaft extends in the axial direction and slidably guides the movement of the movable support in the axial direction. At least one intermediate shaft rotates in response to rotation of a motor shaft and transmit power of the motor to the driving mechanism. At least one bearing supports an end portion of the at least one intermediate shaft is located in the front side in the axial direction. A single metal support is immovable relative to the housing and supports the at least one bearing. The single metal support has a first hole for partially receiving the first guide shaft.

Power tool having hammer mechanism

A power tool, such as a hammer driver-drill (1), includes a spindle (26) that is axially and rotatable supported inside a metal gear case (41). A first cam (83) is affixed to the spindle so as to rotate therewith and is housed in the gear case (41). A second cam (84) is disposed around spindle such that it is rotatable separately with respect to the spindle and can be brought into contact with the first cam. Hammer-switching levers (95) are movable relative to the gear case between an advanced position, at which rotation of the second cam is restricted (blocked), and a retracted position, at which the rotational restriction on the second cam is released. Receiving members (89) are respectively interposed between the gear case and the hammer-switching levers and are configured to absorb vibration generated when a hammering operation is being performed using the power tool.

ROTARY HAMMER

A rotary hammer includes a motor, a spindle coupled to the motor for receiving torque from the motor, a piston at least partially received within the spindle for reciprocation therein, a striker received within the spindle for reciprocation in response to reciprocation of the piston, and an anvil received within the spindle and positioned between the striker and the tool bit. The anvil is configured to impart axial impacts to the tool bit in response to reciprocation of the striker. The rotary hammer also includes a retainer received within the spindle for selectively securing the striker in an idle position in which it is inhibited from reciprocating within the spindle. The retainer includes a detent member configured to engage the striker to secure the striker in the idle position, and a tensing element configured to bias the detent member radially inward toward engagement with the striker.

BATTERY POWERED IMPACT WRENCH

An impact wrench is provided with a battery to power the motor. The impact wrench provides improved portability since the impact wrench does not need to be connected to an electrical extension cord or a pneumatic hose. The output drive, motor, batteries and main handle may be aligned along the axial direction of the tool. The batteries may be located between the motor and the main handle.
