A hand-held power tool, in particular an impact drill driver, has a gearbox assemblage, a hammer impact mechanism, and a tool spindle. The hammer impact mechanism includes a striker that at least partly surrounds the tool spindle in at least one plane.

CHISEL HAMMER

A power tool adapted to impart axial impacts to a tool bit includes a housing having a motor housing portion and a handle portion extending transversely from the motor housing portion, an electric motor supported in the motor housing portion and defining a motor axis, a non-rotatable barrel extending from the motor housing portion and defining a barrel axis parallel to the motor axis, a reciprocation drive assembly coupled to the electric motor and configured to convert torque from the electric motor to reciprocating motion of a piston received within the barrel for reciprocation therein along the barrel axis, a striker received within the barrel for reciprocation in response to the reciprocation of the piston, and an anvil at least partially received within the barrel and positioned between the striker and tool bit.

The anvil communicates axial impacts to the tool bit in response to reciprocation of the striker.

Rotary power tool

A rotary hammer includes a motor and a spindle coupled to the motor for receiving torque from the motor. The spindle has an adjustable rotation speed. A reciprocation mechanism is operable to create a variable pressure air spring within the spindle and includes a piston configured to reciprocate within the spindle in response to receiving torque from the motor. The piston has an adjustable reciprocation frequency. A striker is selectively reciprocable within the spindle in response to reciprocation of the piston. A first transmission is transfers torque from the motor to the spindle and a second transmission is transfers torque from the motor to the reciprocation mechanism. The reciprocation frequency of the piston is adjustable independent of the rotation speed of the spindle. The rotation speed of the spindle is adjustable independent of the reciprocation frequency of the piston. At least one of the transmissions is a multi-speed transmission.

A power tool having a hammer mechanism includes a tool body defining the driving axis, a motor housed in the tool body, an elongate handle connected to the tool body in a cantilever manner and extending in a direction intersecting the driving axis, and at least one biasing member disposed between the tool body and the handle. The motor has a motor shaft that is rotatable around an axis parallel to the driving axis. The handle includes a first end portion connected to the tool body to be pivotable around a pivot axis relative to the tool body, a free end, and a grip part disposed between the first end portion and a free end of the handle. The at least one biasing member is configured to pivotally bias the tool body and the handle such that the grip part and the tool body move away from each other.

ROTARY POWER TOOL

A rotary hammer tool can include a housing, a first motor supported by the housing, a spindle rotated by the first motor, a second motor supported by the housing, and a reciprocation mechanism reciprocated by the second motor. The reciprocation mechanism can include a piston driven to reciprocate within the spindle and a striker to reciprocate within the spindle in response to reciprocation of the piston. The rotational speed of the spindle and a reciprocation frequency of the reciprocation mechanism may be independently controllable.

A hammer drill has a body housing having a motor housing and a gear housing formed in one piece. An electric motor is fixed to the motor housing. A motion converting mechanism, a striking mechanism and a tool holder which form a striking mechanism part are housed in the gear housing so as to be movable with respect to the gear housing. During hammering operation, the striking mechanism part moves with respect to the gear housing under a biasing force of a coil spring, so that vibration caused by the hammering operation is reduced.

A clutch device includes a guiding element, a first clutch element being capable of sliding relative to the guiding element, a second clutch element being capable of sliding relative to the guiding element, an elastic element including a first connecting leg and a second connecting leg which are respectively connected with the first clutch element and the second clutch element, and a rotating element being capable of rotating about a first axis relative to the guiding element. The rotating element includes a first supporting portion for contacting with the first connecting leg, which is disposed at a first axial position of the first axis, and a second supporting portion for contacting with the second connecting leg, which is disposed at a second axial position of the first axis.

The power tool includes: a handle; a biasing member for biasing the handle in a direction away from a final output shaft in the axial direction; at least one guiding member disposed between a housing and a first part of the handle so as to extend in the axial direction and configured to slidably guide relative movement between the handle and the housing; and at least one elastic member disposed at least one of between the at least one guiding member and the housing and between the at least one guiding member and the first part of the handle. The at least one guiding member is disposed so as to be movable relative to the housing or the handle in a crossing direction that crosses the axial direction by elastic deformation of the at least one elastic member in the crossing direction.

Battery powered impact wrench

An impact wrench is provided with a battery to power the motor. The impact wrench provides improved portability since the impact wrench does not need to be connected to an electrical extension cord or a pneumatic hose. The output drive, motor, batteries and main handle may be aligned along the axial direction of the tool. The batteries may be located between the motor and the main handle.

RECIPROCATING IMPACT TOOL WITH MOTOR CONTROL

A power tool that includes a housing, an electric motor, an input device, a reciprocation drive assembly, a striker, an anvil, and an electronic controller is provided. The electronic controller can control the electric motor based on a state of the input device. The electronic controller can receive a first signal from the input device, the first signal indicating a first constant speed of the electric motor, and, in response to the first signal, set an operational speed of the electric motor to the first constant speed. The electronic controller can further receive a second signal from the input device, the second signal indicating a second constant speed of the electric motor that is greater than the first constant speed, and, in response to the second signal, set the operational speed of the electric motor to the second constant speed.
