A knife block may include a block body with a recessed portion and a block insert positioned at least partially within the recessed portion. The block insert may include a first knife slot and a second knife slot. The knife block may include a first knife sharpener coupled to the block insert, where the first knife slot is sized such that a first knife is sharpened by the first knife sharpener each time the first knife is removed from the first knife slot, and a second knife sharpener coupled to the block insert, where the second knife slot is sized such that a second knife is sharpened by the second knife sharpener each time the second knife is removed from the second knife slot. The knife block may include a first knife storage slot and a second knife storage slot.

A knife holder includes a holder body configured to hold a top portion of a spine of a knife and suspend the entire knife in air, a magnet attached to the holder body and configured to adhere to and magnetically support the top portion of the spine of the knife in a detachable manner, and a guide provided at an insertion position further in front than the magnet when the knife is inserted from an insertion portion of the holder body, the guide including a contact portion configured to come into contact with the top portion of the spine of the knife at least at a position lower than an adhesion surface of the magnet.

A napkin is provided with an adhering portion and a releasing portion that can releasably adhere together. The adhering portion is located on an upper side of the napkin and the releasing portion is located on the lower side at a corresponding position such that the napkin can be stacked with similar napkins with the releasing portion of a first napkin aligned and engaged with the adhering portion of a second napkin. The napkin has an engaging location on its lower side such that the napkin can be wrapped around items of cutlery and secured to form a wrap by engaging the adhering portion with the engaging location. A method of wrapping cutlery using the napkin is also provided.

A napkin is provided with an adhering portion and a releasing portion that can releasably adhere together. The adhering portion is located on an upper side of the napkin and the releasing portion is located on the lower side at a corresponding position such that the napkin can be stacked with similar napkins with the releasing portion of a first napkin aligned and engaged with the adhering portion of a second napkin. The napkin has an engaging location on its lower side such that the napkin can be wrapped around items of cutlery and secured to form a wrap by engaging the adhering portion with the engaging location. A method of wrapping cutlery using the napkin is also provided.

A cutlery holding system and method. Each of first, second and third pieces of cutlery are on a cutlery holder surface, each of the pieces of cutlery have an operative end that includes a food eating portion at a first end, and a handle portion culminating at a second end. The cutlery holder has a height which is effective to maintain a single tangent point between the bottom surface of each piece of cutlery and the top surface of the cutlery holder, and to keep the pieces spaced from one another.

The side edge has a plurality of co-linear through-holes extending therethrough. The through-holes are located to allow the holder to be mounted on the handle of a kitchen cabinet. The holder also includes a kickstand to enable the holder to sit on a kitchen counter.
