20190283228 · 2019-09-19 · ·

In an aspect of the disclosure there is provided a vibration reducing apparatus for a percussive tool having an axis of reciprocation. The apparatus comprises, a guide frame and at least one member extending across the axis of reciprocation. An assembly extending in a direction of along the axis of reciprocation comprises at least two layers and each layer comprises four interconnected elongate members pivotally attached and rotatable with respect to each other to define a polygon; and the assembly has at least one biasing means. A handle is movably coupled to the guide frame and supported on the assembly. The apparatus provides decreasing stiffness with increasing compression of the assembly under an applied load to the handle for reducing vibration in a predetermined frequency range.

ATTACHMENT FOR POWERED HAMMER

An attachment is configured for use with a powered hammer to drive a rod into the ground. The attachment includes a body and an impact portion defining a first axis. The impact portion is fixed to the body and immovable relative to the body. The impact portion is configured to receive repeated impacts from the powered hammer. The attachment further comprises a receiving portion in which the rod is receivable. The receiving portion defines a second axis that is parallel with the first axis.

A pneumatic chisel includes a housing having a double-acting pneumatic cylinder in which a piston including a chisel is movably arranged along a longitudinal axis. The cylinder has a work-side section and a return-side section. The return-side section includes a damping portion and a pressure-equalization opening. The work-side section includes an end-position damping member and a compressed air connection. A compressed air reservoir is connected to the return-side section of the cylinder. A chisel guide housing includes a sealing air chamber. The piston is constructed as one piece with the chisel.

DOCKING STATION
20190223669 · 2019-07-25 ·

A docking station for a dust collection box comprising: a housing; a socket formed by the housing configured to receive a dust collection box of a dust extractor; first and second apertures formed through a wall of the housing which aligns with air outlet and inlet apertures of a dust collection box when the dust collection box is mounted within the socket; a connector connectable to a vacuum source; and a dust channel mounted inside of the housing, which provides a passageway between the second aperture and the connector. The docking station may further include an air vent formed through a wall of the housing to allow air surrounding the housing to enter a cavity formed inside of the housing, where the first aperture is connected to the cavity in the housing to allow air in the cavity to exit the housing through the first aperture.

Hydraulic Hammering Device

A hydraulic hammering device is capable of sufficiently transmitting blow energy to bedrock while further strengthening cushioning action and suppressing damage to equipment. The device includes a pushing piston disposed behind a transmission member and having a smaller propulsive force than that of a main body, a damping piston positioned behind the pushing piston to slide reciprocally forwards and backwards and having a greater propulsive force than that of the main body, a direction-restrictor in a high-pressure circuit between pushing and damping chambers, to which hydraulic fluid is supplied for providing the pistons with propulsive forces, and a fluid supply source. The direction-restrictor restricts an outflow from the chambers side to the fluid supply source side while allowing fluid inflow from the fluid supply source side to the chambers and the pushing chamber sides. A throttle in a drain circuit discharges leaked fluid from a sliding contact location to a tank.

POWER TOOL
20190176313 · 2019-06-13 ·

A power tool is provided that includes a tool carrier for mounting an impact tool. The tool carrier has a base member aligned with an operational axis. The base member has a head end for receiving impact energy, a foot end provided with a tool mount configured to transmit the impact energy to the impact tool, and a casing engagement feature between the head end and foot end. A first casing module is provided with a tool carrier engagement feature complementary in shape to, and for interlocking engagement with, the tool carrier casing engagement feature to prevent rotation of the tool carrier relative to the first casing module around the operational axis, and permits relative movement between the tool carrier and the first casing module along the operational axis.

ATTACHMENT FOR POWERED HAMMER

A method of driving a rod into the ground comprises coupling an impact portion of an attachment to a powered hammer, positioning the rod between a first jaw of the attachment and a second jaw of the attachment, activating a first motor to move the first jaw toward the second jaw, such that the rod is clamped between the two jaws, and activating a second motor to drive an axial impact mechanism of the powered hammer to deliver repeated axial impacts to the impact portion of the attachment.

HANDHELD POWER TOOL

A handheld power tool (1) is provided, including a tool holder (2) for receiving and locking a tool (3) on a working axis (4), and including a power tool housing (6). A striking mechanism (8) includes a striker (10) for applying impacts in the impact direction (9) and an anvil (11) for absorbing the impacts and for transmitting the impacts in the impact direction (9) onto the tool (3) accommodated in the tool holder (2). A collar (18) is fastened to the power tool housing (6) and to the anvil (11). When the anvil (11) abuts a rebound impact damper (13) in the impact direction (9), the elastic collar (18) applies a force acting in the impact direction (9) onto the anvil (11).
