METHOD FOR SETTING THE STRIKING STROKE OF A STRIKING PISTON OF A PERCUSSION APPARATUS, AND A PERCUSSION APPARATUS FOR IMPLEMENTING SAID METHOD
The percussion apparatus includes a striking piston and a piloting device configured to make a striking stroke of the striking piston vary, the piloting device comprising a piloting cylinder, a piloting slide mounted movable in translation within the piloting cylinder according to a direction of displacement and mounted movable in rotation within the piloting cylinder, and a main piloting chamber delimited by the piloting slide and the piloting cylinder. The percussion apparatus further includes a setting device configured to set a range of variation of the striking stroke of the striking piston, the setting device including a setting member configured to set the angular position of the piloting slide in the piloting cylinder, and at least one fluidic communication passage formed on the piloting slide and configured to hydraulically limit the translational displacement stroke of the piloting slide according to the direction of displacement according to the angular position occupied by the piloting slide.
Sliding center of gravity hammer
A sliding center of gravity hammer is disclosed herein allows the user to slide a heavy weight to various positions in the barrel of the hammer for different applications. When more force is needed to drive a nail, the heavy weight could be locked in the first position which is closest to the hammer head. When less force is needed, the heavy weight could be locked in the third position which is closest to the handle end. The embodiment allows the user to adjust the weight of the hammer to the user's needs when working on many different applications which increases the operation efficiency and reduces risk of injury to the user.
Force-limiting and damping device
A force-limiting and damping device has a body, a tapping element, and an elastic element. The body has a connecting segment and a holding segment. The connecting segment is formed on an end of the body and has a mounting hole. The holding segment is formed on the body opposite the connecting segment. The tapping element is connected to the body to move relative to the connecting segment. The elastic element is mounted between the tapping element and the connecting segment to abut against the tapping element and to enable the tapping element to move relative to the connecting segment. The structural relationship between the connecting segment, the tapping element, and the elastic element may provide a delayed rebound and damping effect to the reaction force, and the applied force is continuously transferred to a tapping object. This may reduce noise and the loss of energy.
Two-Piston Hydraulic Striking Device
Provided is a two-piston hydraulic striking device that has stable operatively. This two-piston hydraulic striking device includes two striking mechanisms for striking one transfer member. Each striking mechanism has a pressure receiving area ratio between the front and rear of a piston thereof set in such a way that the two striking mechanisms have the same cycle time.
POWER TOOL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A power tool communication system including an external device including a first controller configured to transmit, via wireless communication to a power tool, configuration data including a work light duration parameter value and a work light brightness parameter value. The power tool includes a housing, a brushless direct current (DC) motor, a trigger, a work light, a wireless communication circuit configured to wirelessly communicate with the external device to receive the configuration data, and a second controller configured to control a work light duration of the work light based on the work light duration parameter value, and control a work light brightness of the work light based on the work light brightness parameter value.
Drill attachment having an adapter component
A drill attachment for engagement and actuation of a drill apparatus having a bifurcated frame defining a first shaft and a second shaft operatively engaged to the drill apparatus at first and second engagement points is disclosed. A handle is pivotally engaged to the first shaft and is operatively coupled to a trigger actuator located along the first shaft through a trigger cable operatively engaged to a trigger actuator the distal end of the first shat that permits remote actuation of the drill apparatus. The trigger actuator includes a pivotable rocking arm having an actuator pad in selective engagement with the drill trigger such that actuation of the handle by the user pivots the rocking arm in a manner that causes the actuator pad to engage or disengage the drill trigger when operating the drill apparatus. The drill attachment is operatively engaged to the drill apparatus through an adapter component having a proximal portion engaged to the drill attachment and a distal portion defining a generally curved configuration adapted to engage the handle of any conventional drill apparatus.

The embodiment allows the user to adjust the weight of the hammer to the user's needs when working on many different applications which increases the operation efficiency and reduces risk of injury to the user.
Method for Capturing at least One Characteristic Value of at least One Tool
A method for sensing at least one characteristic value of at least one tool, in particular a hand-held power tool, includes detachably connecting the tool to at least one additional module and detecting with the additional module at least one characteristic value of the tool. The method further includes carrying out at least one training operation. The training operation includes deriving at least one reference value from the at least one characteristic value via the additional module and storing the reference value.
METHOD FOR ENGAGING A DRILL TRIGGER ON A DRILL AS IT IS ADVANCED TOWARD THE CEILING WITH A DRILL APPARATUS
A method for engaging a drill trigger on the drill as it is advanced toward the ceiling with the drill apparatus. The drill includes the drill trigger positioned near the upper tube by a drill support for holding the drill, the drill support being mounted on the upper tube. The method includes the steps of: providing a strand looping over the drill trigger, so that the strand extends toward the lower tube. The strand is attached to the lower tube to secure the strand against movement towards the drill, so that the drill trigger is depressed by the strand when then the upper tube moves relative to the outer tube and towards the ceiling.
Powered tile breaker
A powered tile breaker has an adjustable frame and the frame is further comprised of a handlebar member, a foldable shaft, a base member, and wheels. The base member holds a chiseling assembly which comprises a main electric motor located inside a motor casing. The motor powers a chisel member. The chiseling assembly is angularly adjustable by way of an actuator member which consists in a secondary electric motor driving a piston. The piston has one end rotationally connected to the base member, and the actuator member is rotationally connected to a lever member which extends from the chiseling assembly and which connects at a pivot point.
