System and method for assessing the efficiency of a drilling process
A method for determining efficiency of a drilling process comprising the steps of: transferring energy via a tool member to the material in which drilling is to be performed by means of a drilling configuration; detecting waves which are propagating in said tool member of said drilling configuration during drilling as a result of energy provision; detecting said waves by means of at least two sensor means arranged on mutually opposite sides of said tool member adjacent to, on a certain distance from, said tool member, which sensor means are based on inductive and/or capacitive detection of said waves in said tool member; and based on results of said detection, determining said efficiency of said drilling process.
Method for Operating a Handheld Power Tool
The disclosure relates to a method for operating a handheld power tool having an electric motor, the method comprising: S1 providing at least one model signal waveform that is associated with a work progress of the handheld power tool; S2 determining a signal of an operating variable of the electric motor; S3 comparing the signal of the operating variable with the model signal waveform and determining a conformity evaluation on the basis thereof; S4 identifying the work progress at least partially using the conformity evaluation; S5 executing a first routine of the handheld power tool at least partially on the basis of the work progress identified in method step S4. The disclosure also relates to a handheld power tool, in particular an impact driver, comprising an electric motor and a control unit, wherein the control unit is designed to carry out a method according to the disclosure.
Rotary power tool including transmission housing bushing
A rotary power tool comprises a drive mechanism including an electric motor and a transmission, a housing enclosing at least a portion of the drive mechanism, a spindle rotatable in response to receiving torque from the drive mechanism, a first ratchet coupled for co-rotation with the spindle, a second ratchet rotationally fixed to the housing, a sleeve bushing on an interior of the housing, and a bearing arranged between the spindle and the sleeve bushing and rotatably supporting the spindle. The bearing has an outer race. The spindle is movable relative to the housing in response to contact with a workpiece, causing the first and second ratchets to engage and the spindle to reciprocate while rotating. The outer race of the bearing moves along the sleeve bushing during reciprocation of the spindle when the first ratchet and second ratchet are engaged.
Hydraulic hammer
A hydraulic hammer for a working machine configured for digging a surface includes a housing, a chisel, sensors, and a controller. The housing is coupled to the working machine. The chisel is partially enclosed by the housing and extendable from the housing for digging the surface at a contact location. Each of the sensors is configured for generating a signal indicative of a projecting distance between one of the sensors and the surface. The controller is configured for receiving the signals, determining an angle between the chisel and a plane substantially tangent to the contact location, and reorienting the chisel so that the chisel is substantially orthogonal to the contact location with the angle at substantially ninety degrees.
IMPACT TOOL
An impact tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a tool body, an elastically-connected part elastically connected to the tool body to be movable at least in a front-rear direction relative to the tool body, a detecting mechanism configured to detect pressing of a tool accessory against a workpiece, and a control part configured to control driving of the motor based on a detection result of the detecting mechanism. The detecting mechanism includes a movable member that is provided in one of the tool body and the elastically-connected part and configured to be moved by relative movement of the other of the tool body and the elastically-connected part in the front-rear direction, and a detector that is provided in the one of the tool body and the elastically-connected part and configured to detect rearward pressing of the tool accessory by detecting movement of the movable member.
POWER TOOL
A power tool includes an accessory and a reader. The accessory is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the power tool. The accessory includes a passive wireless tag. The reader includes at least one antenna and a reading part. The reading part is electrically connected to the at least one antenna. The reading part is configured to wirelessly communicate with the wireless tag via the at least one antenna and to read information stored in the wireless tag when the accessory is attached to the power tool.
Hand-held power tool
The disclosure is based on a hand-held power tool having at least one switch device which comprises at least one switching element at least for activating a power supply of a drive unit, having at least one quick-change tool holder which is provided for holding an insertion tool which is different from an insertion tool with an SDS® shaft having a maximum transverse extent of 10 mm and/or having at least one accumulator interface. It is proposed that the at least one switching device comprises at least one locking unit which is provided for maintaining, at least essentially independently of an effect of an operator activation force, an active operating mode which can be activated by actuating the at least one switching element.
Power base module
A drive base module of a modularly constructed multifunctional handheld machine is configured to connect to at least one attachment device. The drive base module includes at least one connection device including at least one drive-technological interface and/or a data-technological interface configured to connect to the at least one attachment device. The drive base module further includes at least one drive unit configured to drive the at least one attachment device in a state in which the at least one attachment device is connected to the at least one connection device. The drive base module further includes at least one rechargeable battery unit; and at least one information output unit configured to output information to an operator acoustically and/or haptically.
Electric pulse tool
An electric pulse tool for performing tightening operations, where torque is delivered in pulses to tighten a screw joint, includes an output shaft, a sensor arranged to determine a parameter value associated with the tightening of the screw joint, a processor, and a memory containing instructions executable by the processor. The electrical pulse tool operates to provide torque pulses on the output shaft in a first direction until the determined parameter value associated with the tightening of the screw joint reaches within or above a predetermined first interval including a target parameter value. The electrical pulse tool also operates to provide at least one torque pulse on the output shaft in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction in case the determined parameter value exceeds the target parameter value within a predetermined second interval.
