Tray table trays
Trays for tray tables that prevent liquid spilled on a top surface of the trays from spreading over edges of the trays. A casing having a top surface with at least one aperture through the top surface, a receptacle within the casing positioned below the aperture in the top surface configured to receive an absorbent pad that can be removably positioned in the receptacle below the aperture to be in communication with the top surface of the tray. Spilled liquids can be guided toward the aperture in the top surface and absorbed in the absorbent pad within the casing. The absorbent pad may be a superabsorbent material. The top surface can have a superhydrophobic coating.

Method and apparatus for communicating the status of a consumable
An apparatus for communicating the status of a consumable having a tubular housing with a channel, wherein the channel includes a proximal section and a distal section separated by an internal flange, a power module assembly including a coaster coupled on the proximal section of the tubular housing, a top cover, and a bottom cover coupled to the distal section of the tubular housing, a sensor coupled to the coaster for determining a level of beverage in a beverage container, and electronic circuitry for controlling a status indicator, wherein the sensor is in electrical communication with the electronic circuitry, wherein the status indicator is operably coupled to the sensor; and wherein the status indicator is covered by a lampshade.
Article for use as sleeve or coaster with a beverage container
An article that can be formed into a sleeve or a coaster for a beverage container. The article includes: (a) a first sheet that is at least sufficiently flexible to be wrapped around the cylindrical body of the beverage container to position an inner surface of an end portion of the first sheet adjacent an outer surface of a tab portion of the first sheet to form an overlapping area between the end portion and the tab portion; (b) a first adhesive on a first portion of an inner surface of the first sheet, wherein the first portion is at least partially within the overlapping area; and (c) a second adhesive on a second portion of the inner surface of the first sheet, wherein the second portion is at least partially outside the overlapping area, and wherein the first adhesive and the second adhesive can be the same or different.
ACTIVITY SYSTEM
An activity system may include a mat with a work surface. In some implementations, the activity system includes a stand that can support an electronic device (e.g., a tablet, smartphone, electronic reader, etc.). A tether may also be provided, which, on one end, couples to an anchor on the mat, and at the other end retains a marker or other writing or art instrument. The activity system may facilitate combination of teaching media (e.g., electronic or pre-printed paper-based media) with physical media, such as pens, markers and other writing or marking instruments.
Mat for removably receiving an object
The invention relates to a mat (1), in particular a self-adhesive mat (1), which is at least partially formed from an elastically deformable material. According to the invention, the mat (1) comprises at least one recess (2), wherein in the recess (2) a receiving device (3) is positioned which is at least partially composed of a more solid material than the mat (1).
Foodware system having visual-stimulating, sensing, and wireless-communication components, and method of using with a plurality of dining plates
An active foodware system includes a visual-stimulating component for displaying information related to a plurality of sensing components, such as load cells, sensing weight of food on respective dining surfaces of supporting dining plates. A mechanical structure supports and positions the dining plates in a constrained relationship to each other, and cavities in the mechanical structure may unattachedly mate with the dining plates. A wireless communication component wirelessly sends weight data to the visual-stimulating component, such as a mobile phone or tablet computer. The system is configured to determine calories of the food, and the system may include a camera for sensing the food or a diner. The visual-stimulating component may display information other than information provided by a scale, and auditory and haptic stimuli may also be provided.
Wine bottle holder
The present disclosure provides a wine bottle holder. The wine bottle holder includes a bracket configured for placing a wine bottle, a base configured for supporting the bracket, and a first illumination module. The bracket is arranged on the base. The first illumination module is arranged on the bracket and extends along an extension direction of the bracket. The first illumination module is configured for emitting illumination light to irradiate on the wine bottle placed on the bracket.
Liquid Containing Vessels With Integrated Coaster
Different liquid containing vessels with integrated coasters are provided. The liquid containing vessels have an upper portion, channel, base, and integrated coaster. The upper portion retains some amount of liquid. The channel is disposed beneath the upper portion and above the above the base. The channel is formed from a central stem connecting the upper portion to the base and a cavity that surrounds the stem for some radius that is less than a radius of the upper portion or base. Disposed in the channel is the integrated coaster. The integrated coaster is a trapping element that in some embodiments is a solid porous ring of an adsorptive or absorptive material. Condensation forming about the outer surface of the upper portion drips downwards towards the channel. The channel redirects the condensation to the trapping element where it is removed by the adsorptive or absorptive materials.
