A stabilizing apparatus coupled to a bottle and designed to prevent the bottle from tipping over when disposed on a flat surface is provided. The stabilizing apparatus includes a ring having a top surface, a bottom surface opposite the top surface and an outer side beveled surface connecting the top and bottom surfaces together. The ring includes a central opening disposed therethrough to receive the bottle. The central opening has an upper slanted inner surface having a plurality of ridges that contact the bottle. Spacing between the plurality of ridges in the upper slanted inner surface reduce a surface area of the upper slanted inner surface in contact with the bottle, thereby permitting slidable adjustments of the ring relative to the bottle with enhanced efficiency.

The dining plate unit can be a single component where the device and related circuitry are all contained in the unit, or it can be at least two components: an upper translucent dining plate, and a mating underplate including the devices and circuitry for directing light through the upper translucent dining plate.

A cushion case for a container includes an abutment portion and a supporting portion. The abutment portion is annular and has an inner surface. The supporting portion inclinedly connected with the inner surface of the abutment portion, formed as a ring-shaped and has an inner edge and an inclined surface. The cushion case can be mounted on a bottom edge of a container, which protects the bottom edge of the container or supports the container fixed on a desk to reduce loss when the container falling down by accident.

A cushion case for a container includes an abutment portion and a supporting portion. The abutment portion is annular and has an inner surface. The supporting portion inclinedly connected with the inner surface of the abutment portion, formed as a ring-shaped and has an inner edge and an inclined surface. The cushion case can be mounted on a bottom edge of a container, which protects the bottom edge of the container or supports the container fixed on a desk to reduce loss when the container falling down by accident.

An apparatus for securely holding beverage containers comprising a base mat holder having a base, a first vertical sidewall and a second vertical sidewall, the first vertical sidewall and the second vertical sidewall defining a region for placement of a base mat for protection of a base portion of a beverage container, and at least one container-holder for receiving and securely holding the beverage container, the at least one container-holder having a first sidewall and a second sidewall, the first sidewall and the second sidewall being on opposing sides of the at least one container-holder, each sidewall having at least one extension arm extending horizontally from each of the opposing sides of the at least one container-holder, the at least one container-holder slidably inserted onto the base mat holder.

In accordance with the present invention, a device and method of buffering a surface while still maintaining the surface's visual appearance is disclosed. This invention relates to protecting a surface from deformation from objects placed on the surface while at the same time maintaining the surface's visual clarity and appearance. This invention may include the use of a sheet of silicone, some of the disclosed embodiments of which are uniquely configured with concave cavities and convex protrusions, and a wetting agent to achieve the stated buffering and visual appearance of the surface.

A luminous base includes a base body, a light guide structure, a light emitting module and a power supply module. The base body has a cover with a light outlet; the light guide structure is installed at the base body and configured to be corresponsive to the light outlet; the light emitting module is installed in the base body for projecting light towards the light guide structure; the power supply module is electrically connected to the light emitting module. Therefore, light can be illuminated upwardly from the bottom of a cup and/or a beverage bottle in a surface emitting manner, and the existence of the cup and/or the beverage bottle can be highlighted to provide a glare effect in a dark environment, and the light can be illuminated uniformly upward from the bottom of the cup and/or the beverage bottle to provide a light staining effect.

A retention device for a vessel has a bottom portion affixed to a serving vessel with a first magnet contained therein, and a holder having a recess formed into a top surface and having a second magnet at a bottom of the recess, wherein the recess is formed in a size, shape and depth for receiving and releasably retaining the bottom portion through mutual attracting of the first and second magnets. In optional embodiments, the bottom portion may comprise a coaster, and the vessel may comprise a beverage tumbler. In other embodiments, the vessel may include a beverage glass, a mug, a stein, a plate, a cup or a bowl, and the holder's magnetic recesses may be formed in a tray, a table, a bar, a counter top, a shelf, a platter, a chair arm, or a cutting board.
