A cooler including a main body, a lid, and a tabletop. The main body includes an interior cavity and an upper circumference when the main body is in an upright position. The lid and the tabletop are both pivotally attached to the main body. The lid has a closed position for covering the upper circumference of the main body to enclose the interior cavity forming an insulating container. The tabletop has an opened position to form a horizontal surface for placing and supporting objects when the main body is in the upright position.

A thermal stabilization vessel may include a double walled tube. The tube may have an outer wall, an inner wall, and a sealed off volume located between the inner and outer walls. A removable base may close off a bottom opening of the tube and conduct heat to or from a container placed within the vessel. A top may partially close off a top opening of the tube. The top may include an annulus of elastomeric material. The annulus may have a plurality of resilient tabs extending radially inward toward a central axis of the tube. When a container such as a bottle of wine is placed within a vessel, the tabs of the annulus may resiliently deflect as needed to accommodate the container and then restrict air exchange between an ambient environment and a space located interior to the inner wall of the tube and exterior to the container.

An improved dish for displaying and storing vegetables at room temperature. A transparent dome component rests on a planar base. An opening in the apex of the dome components allows vegetable to be readily placed and removed from the dish. The opening is closed by a loose-fitting lid so that sufficient humidity is maintained to keep the stored vegetables from becoming flaccid. Yet sufficient air exchange is allowed by the edges of the lid to retard senescent and spoiling of the vegetables.

A system for cooling a substance that includes a heat transfer device with a coolant contained within the heat transfer device. The coolant has a first phase change temperature such that when the coolant is cooled below a phase change temperature the coolant transitions from a liquid to a solid phase. The system further includes a substance that has a second phase change temperature. The substance is positioned in close proximity to the heat transfer device such that thermal energy is transferred away from the substance into the coolant. The coolant may repeatedly undergo a phase change with re-exposure to a temperature below the phase change temperature and the heat transfer device requires no other activation than cooling below the first phase change temperature to commence thermal energy transfer with the substance.

Disclosed is a beverage chiller having a bottom portion and a top portion. The bottom portion includes a perimeter wall defining a receiving vessel for receiving a beverage to be chilled. The top portion includes at least first and second cooling tubes. The bottom and top portions interfit such that the cooling tubes extend vertically down into the beverage and chill the beverage to a desired temperature by thermal contact with said cooling tubes when the top portion is positioned on the bottom portion. The first and second cooling tubes have first and second perimeters, respectively, within a horizontal cross-section of the top portion, and the first and second perimeters have substantially a same size and shape.

Disclosed is a beverage chiller having a bottom portion and a top portion. The bottom portion includes a perimeter wall defining a receiving vessel for receiving a beverage to be chilled. A container includes a case that defines a storage space and an opening at a top surface of the case, a case coupler that is configured to couple to an upper edge of at least one of the lateral walls of the case, the case coupler including a shaft, a cover fixing unit configured to couple to the shaft of the case coupler and to rotate about the shaft, a cover configured to detachably couple to an upper side of the case coupler and configured to open and close at least a portion of the opening of the case, and a hinge that is coupled to the cover and that defines a seating portion configured to receive the shaft, the cover being configured to rotate about the shaft. The cover fixing unit comprises cover fixing units that are located, respectively, at lateral walls of the case that face each other.
