Side handle
A side handle for a power tool includes a base, a grip with an elongated tubular inner section having a first end and a second end, an outer sleeve which surrounds at least part of the inner section. The outer sleeve is connected to the inner section at the first end via a connecting section. The connecting section is resiliently deformable to allow pivotal movement of the outer sleeve relative to the inner section. Damping masses can be attached to the inner section and/or outer sleeve.
STRIKING TOOL
Vibrations resulting from a reciprocating piston and vibrations resulting from a rotating crank shaft are reduced effectively. A housing for a hammer drill accommodates, at a position at which a cap closes a supply port, a counterweight movable in cooperation with a crank mechanism to reduce vibrations in a striking axis direction resulting from a reciprocating piston, and a second counterweight rotatable in cooperation with the crank mechanism to reduce vibrations in a rotational direction resulting from a crank shaft.
Compact head body hammer
A compact head body hammer that requires less clearance to operate as compared to conventional hammers. The hammer does not include a secondary tool located on the rear of the hammer, for example, a pry or a wedge. In omitting these secondary tools, the hammer provides more clearance and allows greater pull back prior to the user striking an object. Further, the hammer head can weigh substantially the same as a conventional hammer head, for example, seven ounces, so that the striking power of the hammer is not compromised by the compact nature of the hammer. The centerline of the hammer head base can be offset with respect to a centerline of the hammer handle, which also provides less mass at the rear portion of the hammer head and allows greater pull back prior to striking the object.
Hammer accessory and associated use thereof
A hammer accessory is capable of being affixed to a head of a hammer and configured to increase leverage for effectively removing nails from a surface while protecting the surface from being damaged. The hammer accessory includes a body having a central wall section, a first lateral wall section affixed to a first side of the central wall section, and a second lateral wall section affixed to a second side of the central wall section. Notably, the first lateral wall section and the second lateral wall section are equidistantly and oppositely offset from the centrally axis. Each of the first lateral wall section and the second lateral wall section is provided with friction-inducing members extending towards the centrally registered longitudinal axis.
RECIPROCATING WORK MACHINE
Provided is a reciprocating work machine capable of further reducing vibration transmitted from a housing to a handle. The reciprocating work machine provided with an electric motor, a piston and a striker reciprocating by power of the electric motor and striking a tool, and a housing accommodating the electric motor, the piston, and the striker, includes: a resin handle operably connected to the housing; a spring provided between the housing and the handle and expanding and contracting in a reciprocating direction of the piston and the striker when the handle operates relative to the housing; and a weight provided to the handle and made of a material having a specific gravity higher than each of a specific gravity of a material constituting the handle and a specific gravity of a material constituting the housing.
Compact Impacting Apparatus
A compact impacting apparatus includes a spring anvil assembly with a spring, an anvil, and a barrel cam. A cam follower engages the barrel cam to energize the spring anvil assembly. The spring anvil assembly is thereafter released to impact a striker, which striker delivers impact force to an impact target. The spring anvil assembly may be biased in a starting operational position by the weight of the apparatus or the impact target. The spring anvil assembly may be disposed against a rotating pusher plate while engaged by the cam follower. Force of impact may be adjusted by repositioning the pusher plate and or changing the compression of the spring of the spring anvil assembly. The cam follower provides for repeated impacts upon the impact target and the striker holds the impact target in place for effective impacting.
WORK TOOL
The disclosure provides a work tool having an electric motor, a power transmission means that receives motive power from the electric motor and transmits the motive power to a tip tool, a gear housing for accommodating at least a portion of the power transmission means, weights swingably supported on the gear housing, and coil springs that function as an urging means for urging the weights such that the weights are located at an initial neutral position, wherein the weights and the coil springs are provided respectively on the two sides of the gear housing so as to put the power transmission means therebetween, and a rotational support axle is provided that functions as a connecting means for connecting the weights provided on both sides of the gear housing so as to connect the weights such that the weights swing integrally.
COMPACT PNEUMATIC HAMMER POSITIONER
A tool positioner for a chipping or drilling tool having a tool axis. The positioner has a frame, a tool support configured for coupling the chipping or drilling tool to the positioner and mounted to the frame via a first joint having a first pivot axis and a second joint having a second pivot axis, the first pivot axis, the second pivot axis and the tool axis intersecting each other at a common point. The first joint and the second joint allow angular movements of the chipping or drilling tool at least about the respective first pivot axis and the second pivot axis. The tool support is further displaceable relative to the frame to enable a plurality of degrees of freedom in translation of the tool support. An automated locking system is operable to restrict and allow the plurality of degrees of freedom in translation of the tool support.
RECIPROCATING IMPACT TOOL WITH IMPACT CONTROL
A power tool includes a motor, a spindle defining a first end with a slot, and a crankshaft including a counterweight and a crank pin that are rotated by the motor about a crank axis so that at least one of the counterweight and the crank pin is rotated through the slot. The spindle includes a second end opposite the first end and defines a third distance taken between the first end and the second end of the spindle. The spindle further includes an anvil seat between the first end and the second end and defines a fourth distance between the anvil seat and the first end of the spindle. The power tool further includes an anvil received in the spindle, and the anvil defines a bit seat configured to receive a tool bit.
