A nail plate driving system for safely and efficiently installing nail plates at various heights. A first handle having an engaging head removably receives a second handle having a magnet. The magnet of the second handle is configured to magnetically secure a metal nail plate to allow a user to position the nail plate in a desired location on a wood member to be striked by the engaging head of the first handle. After the nail plate is secured to the wood member the magnet is removed from the nail plate and the process is repeated with the next nail plate. When not in use, the second handle may be secured within the first handle.

A utility knife includes a body having a front end and a rear end opposite the front end. A blade holder, supported by the body, is moveable relative to the body, to move a blade between an extended position and a retracted position. The blade extends through a blade aperture when in the extended position. The blade aperture is sized to receive a hook attached to the blade of a tape measure.

Locking mechanism and safety latch for multi-purpose apparatus. The apparatus includes at least a first tool and a second tool. Each tool can rotate between open position and closed position. The locking mechanism includes a rotatable elongated lever, connected perpendicularly to a locking bar. The mechanism is switchable among at least: a first position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when they are in closed positions; a second position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when the first tool is in open position and the second tool is in closed position; a third position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when the first tool is in closed position and the second tool is in open position.

A wallet includes a first shell with one or more openings on a shell perimeter adapted to clip one or more objects to the one or more openings; and a second shell coupled to the first shell, the second shell including a storage compartment; and first and second rails on each side of the second metal shell to slideably receive one or more cards in the storage compartment.

A striking tool includes an elongated handle having a first end and a second end. The head is attached to or formed integrally with the first end of the handle and defines a striking portion, a claw portion, and a body portion therebetween. The striking tool may have slots, notches, and/or cavities configured to engage fasteners or other objects for applying torsion thereto. A striking member may be removably attached to the striking portion of the head, which may define a nail puller. A multipurpose handle and workpiece attachment tool (10, 12, 14) has a handle (16) and a workpiece (18). The handle has a grip portion (20) at a first end and a first attachment portion (22) at a second end. The cam clamping lever has an eccentric cam surface (36) which can be moved into and out of the cam-lock aperture by operating the cam clamping lever. The second attachment portion has a first spring loaded button (38a, 38b, 42a) which is spring biased to move into the clip-lock aperture when the first and second attachment portions are engaged, and also has a cam engaging surface (40) against which the eccentric cam surface is pressed when the cam clamping lever is operated. In this way, the handle and the workpiece assume a locked configuration.
