Method for operating a working device or rescue device, and working device or rescue device
A method for operating an electromechanical or electrohydraulic working device or rescue device is performed by an operator person and can be used autonomously. The working/rescue device includes a cutting tool having two cutting tool halves movable toward and away from one another and define a virtual cutting plane by their movement. The working/rescues device includes a housing, an electric motor; a pump or mechanical transmission, each driven by the electric motor for actuating the tool insert. An exchangeable rechargeable electrical energy source is in/on a device side of the working/rescue device and includes a housing. During operation of the working/rescue device, orientation of the working/rescue device is sensed and the relationship between the angular position of the working/rescue device cutting plane and the force applied by the cutting tool to the object to be cut is established and the working/rescue device is controlled in dependence on the relationship.
HYDRAULIC TORQUE WRENCH
A hydraulic torque wrench and a method of operating a hydraulic torque wrench. The wrench may be operable to apply torque to a workpiece. The wrench may include a housing; a drive system; a driver rotatably driven by the drive system and configured to selectively engage the workpiece; and a gripping mechanism including an end configured to selectively engage the workpiece, the gripping mechanism being movable between a first position, in which the end engages a surface of the workpiece, and a second position, in which the end is disengaged from the workpiece.
HAZARD DETECTION FOR TORQUE WRENCH
A hydraulic torque wrench and method of operation. The wrench may include a housing supporting a drive element for engaging a fastener; a drive actuator for exerting a torque on the drive element; a sensor configured to sense movement of the housing; and a controller having an electronic processor, the controller being configured to receive a first signal from the sensor, determine, based on the signal, whether the housing is moving, and inhibit operation of the drive actuator in response to the housing of the hydraulic torque wrench moving.
Mobile Tool Equipped Workstation Assembly
A mobile tool equipped workstation assembly for creating, repairing, and servicing jewelry includes a cart, which comprises an upper plate. An item that is to be manipulated can be positioned on an upper face of the upper plate. An air compressor is attached to the cart and a plurality of tools is removably attached to the cart. The tools are air powered. Each tool is operationally engaged to the air compressor by means of an associated air hose of a plurality of air hoses. Each tool has a respective function so that the plurality of tools comprises tools having a variety of functions. The tools are readily accessible to a user for mechanical manipulation, such as by drilling, sanding, polishing, and the like, of the item, such as an article of jewelry.
Remotely activated portable hand tool
The present disclosure provides hand-held, battery-powered tools for performing operations such as crimping and cutting. A frame of the tool supports a working head, a battery, a motor connected to the battery, a controller and a camera. The tool includes a monitoring system for monitoring the performance of the tool remotely. The tool also includes control systems for controlling the performance of the tool.
Power Tool
A hydraulic tool includes a tool head and a moveable piston coupled to the tool head. The hydraulic tool head includes a plurality of jaws, which are operable to open and close for performing work on a workpiece. The hydraulic tool also includes a motor operable to drive the moveable piston to close the plurality of jaws to a closed position at which the work on the workpiece is completed. The hydraulic tool further includes a position sensor configured to detect when the plurality of jaws are at the closed position and responsively generate a sensor signal indicating that the plurality of jaws are at the closed position. Additionally, the hydraulic tool includes a controller configured to receive the sensor signal from the position sensor. The controller is configured to operate the motor based on the sensor signal that the controller receives from the position sensor.
FLUID-POWERED TORQUE WRENCH WITH FLUID PUMP CONTROLS
A control assembly, a tool and a method. The assembly may include a handle assembly including a first handle portion and a second handle portion, the handle assembly being removably connectable to a tool housing; and pump controls operable to control a pump to drive a tool drive mechanism and thereby an output member. Operation of the pump may require an operator's first hand on a first handle portion and the operator's second hand on a second handle portion. The pump may be operable under the control of the pump controls to drive the drive mechanism when the handle assembly is connected to the housing and when the handle assembly is disconnected from the housing.
HYDRAULIC DEVICE
A connected portion 68, 68m is disposed at an end of one of a rotary member 41 (first rotary shaft) of a tool unit 10 and a rotary shaft 62a (second rotary shaft) of a driving unit 60, and a connecting portion 52, 52m which is connected to the connected portion 68, 68m is disposed at an end of the other thereof. The connected portion 68, 68m has a guide shaft 68a that rotates integrally with the rotary member 41 or the rotary shaft 62a, and a plurality of engaged portions 68b, 68p disposed around the guide shaft 68a. The connecting portion 52, 52m has a guide hole 52a into which the guide shaft 68a is inserted, and the engaging portions 52b, 52q with which the engaged portions 68b, 68p are engaged and which are disposed around the guide hole 52a.
Hydraulic Power Tool
A working head for a hydraulic power tool including a head frame and a first moveable die head configured to move along the working head frame. The first moveable die head configured to receive a first moveable die comprising a first body length. A second die head is adapted to receive a second die comprising a second body length. The first body length of the moveable die is different from the second body length of the stationary die.
