Hedge Trimmer
A hedge trimmer has at least one cutting blade and an internal combustion engine operatively connected to the at least one cutting blade so as to drive the at least one cutting blade reciprocatingly. The internal combustion engine has an exhaust gas muffler with an outlet for discharging exhaust gases from the exhaust gas muffler. A multi-part exhaust gas pipe is connected seal-tightly to the outlet of the exhaust gas muffler and connects the outlet of the exhaust gas muffler to an outlet opening where the exhaust gases exit from the hedge trimmer. The multi-part exhaust gas pipe has a plurality of pipe sections, including at least a first pipe section and a second pipe section, wherein the second pipe section is embodied separate from the first pipe section. At least one of the plurality of pipe sections is made of plastic material.
ELECTRIC TOOL
A disc grinder includes a tool main body that may include, for example, as from the front side, a drive portion, a handle portion, and a battery attachment portion. A rechargeable battery may be attached to the battery attachment portion through sliding. A brushless DC motor rotationally drives a motor shaft by electric power from the rechargeable battery. A reduction gear unit may reduce in speed the rotational drive of the motor shaft and may transmit the rotational drive to an output shaft to which a grinding wheel is mounted. The brushless DC motor and a reduction gear of the reduction gear unit may be arranged such that the rotational axis of the motor shaft and the rotational axis of the output shaft are parallel to each other.
Reciprocating power tool
Reciprocating power tool is provided which is improved in vibration isolation of the handle. The reciprocating power tool has a tool body and a handle connected to the tool body. When an axial direction of a tool bit is defined as a longitudinal direction, the handle extends in a vertical direction crossing the longitudinal direction. Further, an upper region of the handle is connected to the tool body via an elastic member and a lower region of the handle is connected to the tool body via a support shaft that it can rotate around an axis of the support shaft in a transverse direction crossing both the longitudinal direction and the vertical direction with respect to the tool body. When the handle rotates around the support shaft with respect to the tool body, the elastic member reduces vibration which is caused in the tool body and transmitted to the handle.
Hand held rotary power tool
A hand-held rotary power tool includes a housing that provides a manual grip zone that is grasped by the user during operation of the tool. The housing includes a switch opening that overlies an electrical switch that controls operation of a tool motor. The tool includes a switch actuator that is disposed in tool housing so as to be accessible to a user of the tool via the switch opening and is operable to control the position of the switch. The switch actuator is configured to damp tool noise and transmission of tool vibration to the tool housing.
MACHINE TOOL HAVING A BALANCING DEVICE
A machine tool, namely a handheld machine tool or a semi-stationary machine tool, having a drivetrain, which includes a tool shaft rotatably mounted on a drive support by means of a bearing assembly and a tool holder arranged on the tool shaft for an in particular disk-like working tool, wherein the tool shaft is rotationally drivable by a drive motor of the machine tool around a rotational axis, and wherein a balancing device is arranged on the tool shaft, which includes a guide body having at least one orbital path extending around the rotational axis and at least one balancing body movably mounted in the orbital path. It is provided in the machine tool that the drive support is movably mounted on a holder of the machine tool, wherein a relative position of the drive support in relation to the holder is adjustable by the balancing device.
BRUSHLESS MOTOR FOR A POWER TOOL
A brushless direct current motor for a power tool. The motor includes a stator assembly including a stator core having stator laminations with an annular portion and inwardly extending stator teeth. The motor also includes a rotor assembly including a rotor core having rotor laminations and defining a central aperture that receives an output shaft. The rotor assembly also includes a rotor end cap on a first side of the rotor core having a bearing holder and defining a channel, wherein the channel is open on a side of the rotor end cap facing the rotor core. The motor further includes a bearing provided in the bearing holder that couples the rotor end cap to the output shaft and a position sensor board assembly provided in the channel of the rotor end cap and configured to provide position information of the rotor core to a motor controller.
