Brushless motor system for power tools

A brushless DC motor includes a stator, a rotor, and motor terminals mounted on the stator. Each motor terminal includes a planar portion extending circumferentially from the end insulator, a wire-receiving member extending from a first end of the planar portion and folded over an outer surface of the planar portion away from the center axis of the stator at an angle of less than 90 degrees, and a tab portion extending from a second end of the planar portion parallel to the center axis of the stator. A circuit board is disposed adjacent the motor including power switches mounted thereon for energizing the stator windings. Slots are formed in the circuit board to align with and securely receive the tab portions of the motor terminals, thus electrically connecting the motor terminals to the power switches.

Electric working machine

An electric working machine capable of efficiently cooling components disposed inside, as well as simplifying assembling work and reducing man-hours and production cost. A motor, control board for controlling the motor, rod fixture secured to the front side of the motor, and air guiding partitioning member secured to the rear side of the motor form a motor assembly. The air guiding partitioning member includes a partitioning plate hermetically partitioning between air exhaust and intake ports provided with a predetermined interval longitudinally in the body casing. The partitioning plate has an air guiding window for delivering cooling air taken in from the air intake port to an opening for sucking air on the front side of the motor through a space between the motor and body casing. The control board is disposed on the rear side of the partitioning plate.

Electric power tool

An electric power tool includes a holder, a motor, and a transmission mechanism. The motor includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes a rotary shaft and a rotor body. The rotary shaft is coupled to the transmission mechanism. The rotator includes at least the rotor body. The rotator rotates. The electric power tool further includes an absorbing member. The absorbing member has a property to absorb a lubricant. The absorbing member is arranged between the rotator and the transmission mechanism.

Power tool

A power tool has a fan guide for straightening the flow of cooling air generated by a fan, wherein the branching passages through are provided for causing a portion of the cooling air drawn into the fan from a ventilation hole to diverge from a flow toward an exhaust port formed on a bearing guide side, and the portion of the cooling air flows toward an inlet and thereby circulates inside a housing. The branching passages through provided to the fan guide are formed so as to be inclined in the same direction as a circumferential direction so that air path resistance during actual operation (in an intermediate-speed region) does not increase.

Power tool for crimping or cutting an object, the tool having a switch wherein the switch is provided on a support that is clamped between opposing tool housing portions for forming a seal to restrict the ingress of liquid water into the tool housing interior via the switch, and method of assembly. Power tool for crimping or cutting an object, the tool having an arrangement of light emitting elements directed towards an operative part of the tool for indicating operational information to a user without requiring the user to remove their gaze from the operative part of the tool in use.

Brushless motor for a power tool

A power tool including a housing, a controller within the housing, and a brushless motor within the housing and controlled by the controller. The brushless motor including a stator assembly including a stator core having stator laminations with an annular portion and inwardly extending stator teeth. The stator assembly defines a stator envelope in an axial direction extending between axial ends of stator end caps of the stator assembly. The brushless motor further includes a rotor assembly including a rotor core having rotor laminations and defining a central aperture that extends in the axial direction and that receives a shaft, and a position sensor board assembly including position sensors and configured to provide position information of the rotor core to the controller. The rotor assembly and the position sensor board assembly are provided at least partially within the stator envelope.

Forced air cooling from piston movements of nailer tool

A fastener driving tool that forces air from its variable venting volume beneath the piston of the working cylinder and directs that forced air through passageways and toward an electronic controller and/or an electric motor before being vented to atmosphere, thereby drawing heat away from those components during an operational cycle of the movable piston. When the piston returns to its initial position, environmental air is drawn through the same passageways, again past the electronic controller and/or electric motor, thereby twice cooling these “hot” components during a single operational cycle.
