Ratchet wrench
A ratchet wrench includes a fastener drive member and a rigid, one-piece frame having a handle portion extending along a longitudinal frame axis between a head portion and a finger loop. The fastener drive member has a pair of drive openings centered on the drive axis and facing in opposite directions, with each of the drive openings defined by one or more drive surfaces. One of the drive openings is sized to receive a fastener or driver bit of a first size and the other opening is sized to receive a fastener or driver bit of a second size greater than the first size. The finger loop has a finger receiving opening sized to receive and encircle a finger of a user. The fastener drive member is mounted in the head portion to rotate about a drive axis, and a ratchet mechanism is mounted in the head portion in operable connection to the fastener drive member to selectively transfer torque from the frame to the fastener drive member in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction about the drive axis.
Dual ratcheting hand tool and methods of use
A dual ratcheting tool having multiple ratchet assemblies and handles for rotating adapters, sockets, and other tools is provided. The dual ratcheting tool includes an upper ratchet assembly independently rotationally and mechanically connected to a lower ratchet assembly; a drive member connected to the upper ratchet assembly and the lower ratchet assembly; an upper handle connected to the upper ratchet assembly, the upper handle having an upper directional switch to set a drive direction of the upper ratchet assembly; and a lower handle connected to the lower ratchet assembly, the lower handle having a lower directional switch to set a drive direction of the lower ratchet assembly. The upper and lower handles of the dual ratcheting tool can independently and in combination can drive a socket more quickly and efficiently than ratchets having a single ratchet assembly and handle.
WRENCH
A wrench includes a main rod, a rotating rod and a head portion. One end of the rotating rod is fixed to the main rod. The head portion includes an accommodating element, a sleeve mount, a driven gear and a driving gear. The accommodating element has a side opening. A periphery of the side opening extends outward to form an engaging portion. The main rod is rotatably mounted through the engaging portion. The sleeve mount is rotatably mounted in the accommodating element. The driven gear is fixed to the sleeve mount and is located in the accommodating element. The driving gear is fixed to the rotating rod and engaged with the driven gear. The sleeve mount is driven to tighten or loosen a nut by rotating the main rod to reduce an operating space for the wrench.
Electronic torque wrench
A torque wrench for use in driving fasteners is provided. The wrench includes an electronics unit disposed within a housing engaged with the body of the wrench that is capable of sensing and measuring the torque applied to a fastener by the wrench and providing an output of the level of torque to the user. The data sensed by the electronics unit can be utilized to provide feedback to the user regarding the operation of the wrench, and to monitor the overall operation of the wrench for calibration purposes, among other functions. During use, the wrench can provide the user with visual, audible and tactile feedback regarding the operation of the device relative to stored maximum torque values stored in the electronics unit. The housing for the electronics unit can be formed to be a single use component of the tool or can be designed for multiple uses with a configuration that can be engaged with cradles forming the body of the wrench having various different configurations.
Basin Wrench Assembly
A basin wrench assembly for manipulating a nut on a faucet water line includes a handle which comprises a first section that slidably engages a second section such that the handle has a telescopically adjustable length. A wrench is pivotally coupled to the handle such that the wrench is pivotable along an axis that is perpendicularly oriented with a longitudinal axis of the handle. In this way the wrench can be positioned to engage a nut on a water line attached to a faucet beneath a counter. The wrench comprises a pair of jaws that is pivotally coupled to each other thereby facilitating each of the jaws to engage the nut.
HAND TOOL DEVICE
A hand tool including a control element for receiving one or more finger digits of a user. The control element is positioned on the body component and may be in the form of an aperture defined by a perimeter surface. A user places one or more fingers within the control element and applies pressure to rotate the body component.
Ratcheting wrench apparatus, system and method of use thereof
The present invention surrounds to a ratchet apparatus, system and use thereof. The invention is presented to provide additional mechanical advantage and added angular engagement of a ratcheting wrench. In particular the present invention provides increased torque and angular engagement within a compact space without requiring an extended handle, wherein an extended handle reduces portability and further restricts access and movement within confined spaces.
Tool for skateboards
A tool is devised for skateboards. The tool includes a grip, an Allen key/screwdriver, a driver and three sockets. The grip includes a non-circular cavity in an end and a groove in a side. The first and second sockets are connected to the grip, opposite to each other. The Allen key/screwdriver is selectively inserted in the groove. The driver is selectively inserted in the cavity. The third socket is formed at an end of the driver. The third socket includes an axial bore, a radial bore, and a cutout opposite to the radial bore.
PIPE COUPON EXTRACTION TOOL
A pipe coupon extraction tool includes a rod defining a first end, a second end, and a central axis; and a spring bar defining a first end and a second end, the spring bar rotatably secured to the rod, a surface of the spring bar configured to be angled with respect to the central axis when the pipe coupon extraction tool is engaged with a pipe coupon.
Torque limiting ratchet wrench
A fastener driving device including an elongate shaft extending between the driving head and the handle is provided that has a torque limiting mechanism disposed partially within the handle and extending through the elongate shaft into engagement with the driving head. The torque limiting mechanism enables the driving head to drive the fastener into the substrate without exerting more than a predetermined maximum torque on the fastener, thereby avoiding damage from being done to the fastener and/or the substrate. A ratcheting mechanism is disposed within a torque gear of the torque limiting mechanism to provide a ratcheting function to the tool with a small profile for the tool.
