20200298389 · 2020-09-24 · ·

A pry bar has a transversely disposed generally triangular cross-section handle grip portion having surfaces formed of a soft elastomeric over-molded material. The handle is formed with an inner hard thermoplastic core and molded over outer elastomeric cover. A metal tether receiving element and impact cap are fixedly secured at the handle proximate end.

Tool handle

A tool handle has a trilobular configured grip portion, with three outwardly extending generally arcuate lobes. Each lobe has an arcuate surface that subtends an arc of about 45 to 90, and preferably about 60. The grip portion has two upper surface lobes and one bottom surface lobe. The bottom surface lobe has spaced oval configured finger engaging recesses. A fixedly disposed metal end cap has a rotatably disposed tang for receiving a lanyard for free movement of the tang and lanyard with operation of the tool.

Cushioned grip

A cushioned article includes a cage and a compressible material. The cage has at least one opening, an interior volume, and an outer surface. The at least one opening provides a passage from the outer surface to the interior volume. The compressible material extends through the at least one opening in the cage. A method for manufacturing a cushioned article includes providing a mold having at least one cavity, placing a cage within the mold, and injecting a compressible material into an interior of the cage. The cage includes at least one opening. A portion of the compressible material flows through the at least one opening in the cage and fills the at least one cavity of the mold. One or more shields may be connected to the cage before injection. The shields may be removed with the cage and heat treated with the shields still connected to the cage.

An anti-shock and ventilated grip strap includes a strap body including a substrate and a cushion layer overlapping the substrate. Each of the substrate and the cushion layer is in a form of a strap. The strap body has a hardness in the range of 40-70 in ASTM D2240 Type C hardness scale. A plurality of elastic members is disposed on and protruding away from the cushion layer. The plurality of elastic members is arranged separately from one another. Each of plurality of elastic members has a hardness greater than the substrate and greater than the cushion layer of the strap body.

The present invention relates to pruning shears, and is intended to cut off branches and stems of landscape trees, fruit trees, etc. while minimizing slips, etc. occurring during pruning when the branches or stems have large diameters or are stiff, to alleviate impacts applied to a hand of an operator particularly at the moment when thick branches or stems are cut off, and to be conveniently hung on a tree branch during work. Furthermore, the pruning shears have a sliding portable saw accommodation means configured to cut off a tree branch or stem outside the cutting range of the pruning shears.
