A device and method for providing assistance in gripping items that is sanitary and flexible. In its simplest embodiment, the device is an elongated elastomeric piece with two ends, each end terminating in an enclosed aperture that can be attached to a device to be gripped. Alternate embodiments include an embodiment with a third hole for thumb assistance from the other hand for placing the strap around the hand of the user and the item to be gripped, an embodiment with a middle hole thereby providing three holes wherein the center hole wraps around the center of a baby bottle while the two end holes wrap around the top and bottom of the baby bottle while providing space between the top and bottom holes for the baby's hands, an embodiment with a y-strap for gripping hand tools and an embodiment with a center long hole to allow for the bend in the knuckles of the hand of the user.

An extender has a cradle at the distal end of an extension arm. The handle of a razor is placed in the cradle and held in place by a lash that connects across the spaced edges of the cradle. A scrubbing device with a protective handle is disclosed by this invention. The protective handle protects the fingernails, knuckles and digits of a user during use. The protective handle is flexible and malleable. The user grips the protective handle and rolls it over their fingernails, digits, upper knuckles and lower knuckles and tucks their thumb either behind or in front of the handle. The protective handle then protects the user's fingernails, knuckles and digits during use. The scrubbing device with a protective handle may have a protective pad or a protective coating. The scrubbing device with a protective handle may have an attached scouring accessory. A tool having a flexible extension shaft, a first end and, a second end and capable of being bent about its axis. The tool transfers rotary motion from a device to an implement. Both of the ends may be capable of independently being bent about the axis. The shaft may include a male member and a female member for a kit. When a container is placed into the chamber assembly from the top section and the elongated handle is hand-tightened, the threaded end comes in contact with the container and holds it securely in place, allowing the user to apply rub-on and roll-on medications and other products to hard-to-reach places of the body without undo strain or injury.

The flexible neck is positioned to allow flexion of the handle. The collar moves with respect to the flexible neck between a first position where movement of the flexible neck is unrestricted by the collar and a second position where movement of the flexible neck is restricted by the collar.
