Telepole apparatus and related methods
11628554 · 2023-04-18 · ·

An improved telepole device having attachment means for attaching swimming pool cleaning, and other tools. The improved telepole device preferably includes an inner tube which freely slides within an outer tube, and a locking device to temporarily secure the inner tube in a desired position within the outer tube. A preferred lightweight design may be at least partially hollow along the length of the tube(s), and durability may be provided by inner/reinforcement wall(s) that extend across the hollow portion(s) of one or both of the tubes. On the end of the outer tube through which the inner tube slides/extends is a collar element attached thereto and comprised of a locking device having a detent mechanism for “locking” the inner tube in place within the outer tube. Preferably, the collar's opening and the profile of the inner tube have one or more sides that, due to their relative position with respect to each other, can prevent the inner tube from rotating within the collar. Further, the inner tube preferably has a series of holes along its length which are positioned to receive a pin element of the detent mechanism. Further, the end of the outer tube opposite the collar preferably has attachment holes configured to receive attachable and detachable swimming pool cleaning tools, and an additional set of holes that allow water to drain from the outer tube while a tool is attached.

TOOL INCLUDING A BUFFER STRUCTURE
20230060328 · 2023-03-02 ·

A tool including a buffer structure adapted to prevent shocks includes a tool head, a first shaft structure, and a second shaft structure. The tool head has a first connecting portion. The second shaft structure is attached to the slide and links with the tool head. The second shaft structure is movable with respect to the first shaft structure such that the tool head is moved toward and away from the first shaft structure. The second shaft structure has a second connecting portion receiving the pivot. The tool head is pivotal with respect to the second shaft structure. Further, a resilient member is disposed between the first and the second shaft structures. The second shaft structure is biased by the resilient member.

Wrench assemblies
11660735 · 2023-05-30 ·

A wrench assembly includes first and second wrench members, and a switch, having an engagement member and a proximal extremity, mounted to the first wrench member. The switch moves between engaging and disengaging positions of the engagement member. The proximal extremity is undepressed in the engagement member engaging position, and is depressed in the engagement member disengaging position. The switch moves from the engagement member engaging position to the engagement member disengaging position, when the second wrench member is partially installed into the first wrench member. The switch moves from the engagement member disengaging position to the engagement member engaging position releasably engaging the engagement member to the complemental engagement member disabling the second wrench member from being withdrawn from the first wrench member, when the engagement member registers with the complemental engagement member when the second wrench member is installed into the first wrench member.

Compositions, methods and kits for treating complement related disorders

Compositions, methods and kits are provided for treating complement related disorders in a subject with protein in combination having protein fusions of at least two of a CD46 protein, a CD55 protein and a CD59 protein or with a recombinant chimeric protein having at least two of a CD46 protein, a CD55 protein and a CD59 protein or with nucleic acids encoding these proteins. The composition negatively modulates classical and alternative complement pathways thereby treating complement related disorder such as macular degeneration, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, inflammatory bowel disease, thyroiditis, cryoglobulinaemia, fetal loss, organ graft rejection, cancer, etc.

Pivoting and extending interchangeable hand tool device
11602827 · 2023-03-14 ·

The pivoting and extending interchangeable hand tool device disclosed herein may comprise a tool head and a torque arm that pivot relative to one another, a secondary torque arm for extending length and increasing appliable torque, and a “T”-handle for additional support. The pivoting and extending interchangeable hand tool device may further comprise a plurality of tool heads that may be interchanged within the secondary torque arm, and may be provided commercially in a multiple-tool set. The device is designed to overcome the shortcomings in the prior art, which specifically include the ability to work in tight spaces while reducing the loss of torque when pivoting a torque arm, the loss of strength inherent in an extendable torque arm, and the bulkiness of a “T”-handle.

MOP SYSTEM WITH ROTATING MOP HEAD

A spin mop and bucket system to assist in dewatering a mop is disclosed. The spin mop may have a handle assembly slidably connected with a spiral member, and a mop head that is attached to the spiral member. When the handle assembly moves along the spiral member, the spiral member rotates causing the mop head to rotate. The mop head may articulate relative to the handle assembly and may be pivotally connected to the spiral member and also pivotally connected to a swivel member located between the spiral member and a mop head base. The mop head may be received in a wringer basket of a bucket assembly, such that when the mop head spins, the wringer basket spins to expel any excess fluid from the mop head.

Expendable hydrant wrench
11465270 · 2022-10-11 ·

A fire hydrant wrench includes a wrench-head able to fasten to the pentagonal interface of a fire-hydrant and a handle able to be selectively extended or retracted by a user. The wrench includes a cylindrical rod which may be contained by and telescopes within a tubular handle. A cap on a handle-end of the tubular handle prevents the cylindrical rod from leaving the handle in one direction, while a collar affixed externally to the cylindrical rod prevents it from leaving the handle in the opposite direction. The tool-head containing the wrench is affixed to a tool-end of the cylindrical rod which protrudes from the tubular handle in all positions.
