Utility cutter
An auto-retracting utility cutter includes a cutter body, a handle and an access door enabling top loading of replaceable blades into an slidable internal blade carriage. The blade carriage is actuated when sufficient force is applied to a linkage connected to the blade carriage which overcomes the inertia of the linkage but is resistant to casual squeezing and prevents injury from inadvertent deployment of the blade.
Multipurpose tool
A multipurpose drive tool having a handle to secure an extension driver between an extended position and a retracted position. The extension driver has a proximal end with a ¼ inch socket extending outwardly for use with a plurality of driver bits, and a distal end socket having a 5/16 inch socket. The drive tool further has a ⅜ inch and 7/16 inch socket secured to the handle, having a base member housing with biasing springs for frictionally engaging the driver bits. The extension driver has grooves that interact with a ball bearings positional placement thereof, and a pin for securing the extension driver in an extended or retracted position.
Locking mechanism and safety latch for multi-purpose apparatus
Locking mechanism and safety latch for multi-purpose apparatus. The apparatus includes at least a first tool and a second tool. Each tool can rotate between open position and closed position. The locking mechanism includes a rotatable elongated lever, connected perpendicularly to a locking bar. The mechanism is switchable among at least: a first position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when they are in closed positions; a second position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when the first tool is in open position and the second tool is in closed position; a third position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when the first tool is in closed position and the second tool is in open position.
Utility knife
A utility knife is provided, including: a housing, defining an operation compartment and a storage compartment; a blade holder, movably received within the operation compartment; a blade storing carrier, movably received within the storage compartment, including a receiving portion for receiving at least one spare blade and a grip portion; and a locking mechanism, including a base body, a movable member, a first engaging member and a second engaging member, the base body being disposed to the housing, the movable member being attached to the base body and movable between a locking position and a release position, the first engaging member being disposed on and movable with the movable member, the first engaging member and the second engaging member are releasably engaged with each other so that the blade storing carrier is detachable from the housing.

CONFIGURABLE LEVERAGE BIT DRIVER HANDLE
A configurable leverage bit driver includes a first elongate shaft having a first bit receiving socket in an end face of the distal end. A second elongate shaft is dimensioned to couple with the first elongate shaft in a first axially aligned bit driving configuration. At least one aperture is defined in a lateral side of the second elongate shaft and is dimensioned to selective couple with the first elongate shaft to configure the first elongate shaft and the second elongate shaft in a second bit driving configuration with the second elongate shaft oriented as a lever arm aligned in a transverse axis to the longitudinal axis of the first elongate shaft. The second bit driving configuration may be one or more of a T-handle or an offset T-handle bit driver for increased leverage in driving a fastener.
Utility knife
A utility knife includes a body having a handle portion and a head portion, the handle portion having a plurality of recesses formed in the handle portion. Each of the recesses is capable of receiving at least one replacement blade. A grip is pivotally attached to the handle portion and configured to be positioned in an open position or a closed position, the grip in the open position providing access to the at least one replacement blade. A blade carrier is pivotally coupled to the body, the blade carrier having a post and being rotatable between a closed position and an open position. An active blade is received by the post of the blade carrier such that the post extends into an opening of the active blade.

HOOKS FOR TOOLS SUCH AS TROWELS
A trowel having a handle and a blade operably connected to each other, and a hook for securing the trowel to the lip of a container in which the hook includes at least three sections extending generally in the same direction. The first section is positioned a greater distance from the blade than the second and third sections and the second and third sections are spaced apart a distance less than the thickness of the handle. The trowel is secured to the container lip with the first section preferably outside the container and the second and third sections preferably inside the container.
