Two-position driver
A driver with two operating positions has a handle with a first shell and a second shell connected that can open with respect to each other. Attached to one of the handle portions is a working end that is configured to rotate substantially, generally ninety degrees between a first position with a working end extending along an axis that is longitudinal with the handle and a second position with the working end extending along an axis that is transverse to the handle.
HAND TOOL WITH FOLDABLE WORKING PART
A hand tool includes a handle having a room defined therein. A first and second lugs extend from the front end of the handle. A space is defined between the first and second lugs and communicates with the room. A working part is to be connected with a bit, and has a pivotal portion which is pivotably connected between the two lugs. A plate is connected to at least one of the first and second lugs, and has multiple first recesses and a second recesses. A positioning member is located between the pivotal portion and the plate so as to be engaged with one of the first and second recesses to position an angular position of working part. The working part is able to be pivoted and received in the room in the handle.
Multipurpose and Multifunction Screwdriver Systems
Embodiments of a screwdriver having a first mode as a full sized screwdriver and a second mode different than the first mode are provided so that the functional use of a standard multi-bit screwdriver is enhanced. In a first embodiment, a screwdriver has a second mode as a precision screwdriver. In a second embodiment, a screwdriver has a second mode as a stubby screwdriver. In a third embodiment, a screwdriver has a second mode for use with a power tool
Screwdriver Handle
A screwdriver, comprising a handle having an integral planar pivotal moving and fixed frame incorporating as required a robust wire cutting or stripping mechanism etc. The rigidity of the frames enhanced by their robust attachment within corresponding main and moving plastic over mouldings constituting the handle bodies, the main frame attached to the screwdriver shank. When closed, the handle profiles form the suitably ergonomic profile of a screwdriver handle. A storage chamber for example for interchangeable screwdriver bits can be formed within the handle interior. The wire stripping feature incorporates a method of setting the required length of insulation to be removed from the worked wire comprising of a setting wheel capable of rotational movement around an axle, retained within the main body handle parallel to the wire stripping profile. The setting wheel face incorporating differing depth faces from the wire stripping profiles.
Pocket screwdriver
A pair of screwdrivers each having a handle, a nondetachable outer shaft, a detachable inner shaft, and at least two detachable double-ended screwdriver bits. Each screwdriver handle is formed having a hollow space configured to substantially house the outer screwdriver shaft, the inner screwdriver shaft, and the at least two double-ended screwdriver bits of the other screwdriver, whereby, the pair of screwdrivers may be assembled together when not in use so that the outer shaft, the inner shaft, and the at least two double-ended screwdriver bits of both screwdrivers are substantially non-exposed to prevent the potential for accidental user injury.
Bit driving tool and device for use therewith
A component for a bit driving tool is taught having a mid-chamber telescopically received in an outer chamber, a bit storage chamber formed in the mid-chamber and surrounding and rotatable about a central bore, a central rod axially movable through the central bore when the mid-chamber is telescopically retracted into the outer chamber and a flexible arm comprising a magnetic end, movable into and out of axial alignment with the central bore. Telescopic extension of the mid-chamber out of the outer chamber positions the magnetic end of the flexible arm to magnetically connect with a rear end of a bit stored in the bit storage chamber and telescopic retraction of the component moves the flexible arm and the magnetically connected bit radially into the central bore and wherein further telescope retraction of the component pushes the bit axially through and out of the component. A locking tip for use with a bit driving unit is also taught.
Multi-functional chainsaw field maintenance tool
A multi-functional tool that is particularly useful for in-field service and maintenance of a chainsaw, the tool having a handle section and a head section, wherein the handle section includes a plurality of tubular openings adapted to receive a multiplicity of repair tools, such as a chain file, depth gauge, screwdriver, wrench tool, etc., without requiring the removal of all other tools. The head section includes a pair of spaced-apart spikes to allow the tool to be secured to a wooden structure, such as a tree stump and a clamp to secure the chainsaw while service or maintenance is performed. The multi-functional chainsaw field maintenance tool further includes a device to facilitate transport of the multi-functional tool, such as a belt clip, shoulder strap or magnetic attachment device.

MODULAR MULTIPLE-USE TOOL
A modular tool with improved tool interface structures may feature an adjustable wrench body (110) with tool modules (120) which fit within the jaws (114, 116) of the head of the tool. The tool body (110) (120) that serve as tools or as attachment for tool components, like tool bits or sockets. The tool features a ratcheting engagement of the jaws (162, 172) with a quick release (117) and spring bias (176) that allows for easy attachment of the modules.
FOLDING KNIFE WITH SELECTIVELY HIDDEN BLADE RELEASE
Certain embodiments of a folding knife are disclosed. In one embodiment, an example knife may include a handle and a blade carrier. The blade carrier may be rotatable about the handle and may include a left and a right cap. A blade may be removably disposed within the blade carrier. The knife may further include a blade release mechanism. In one embodiment, the blade release mechanism may include a compression spring and a lift bar. In another embodiment, the blade release mechanism may further include a wheel. In yet another embodiment, the blade release mechanism may include a leaf spring and a slide bar. When the blade carrier is rotated such that the knife is not in a cutting position, at least a portion of the blade release mechanism is exposed. When the blade release mechanism is activated, the blade may be removed from within the blade carrier.
