An apparatus including left and right handle portions; a first blade portion; a first device; and a fastener. The fastener may be configured to connect in a first state, first ends of the left handle portion, the right handle portion, and the first blade portion to each other, with the first blade portion sandwiched between the left and right handle portions. The first device may be configured to connect second ends of the left and right handle portions and an intermediate part of the first blade portion. In at least one embodiment, in the first state the left and right handle portions, and the first blade portion are fixed to each other so that their orientation with respect to one another cannot be changed without disconnecting the fastener so that it no longer connects the first ends of the left and right handle portions, and the first blade portion.

A brush with bristles attached to multiple sides is designed to clean any gutter guard type that is manufactured today, including reverse curve type gutter guards. The brush has a main body of reverse-oriented bristles and accommodates an extension pole on the reverse side. When placed on top of the gutter guard, the brush can be pushed/pulled back and forth using the pole to dislodge any unwanted debris attached to the gutter guard's working surface. The use of the pole removes the need for a person to be on the roof when attempting to clean the gutter and/or gutter guard. With multiple bristle orientations, the brush can be used for other outdoor cleaning uses, such as house fixtures, structures, windows and so forth.

The disclosure is related to knives (fixed blade or folding) with removable scales and scale attachment systems for such knives. In accordance with some examples herein a scale attachment system for a knife having a blade and a handle defined, at least in part, by a pair of scales removably attached to the blade, includes a plurality of U-shaped clips, each of which is configured to be received in a pair of corresponding grooves on opposite sides of the handle. In examples herein, each of the clips may extend transversely along a spine side of the handle and at least along a portion of the two opposite sides of the handle adjacent to the spine side.

The disclosure is related to knives (fixed blade or folding) with removable scales and scale attachment systems for such knives.
