For example, the object coupling apparatus may include an upper support element coupled to the upright support that provides an elongate support element elevated above the ground surface and one or more various arms movable along the elongate support element that couple to the object.
Tire top tool tray apparatus
A tire top tool tray apparatus for storing tools on top of a tire while working on a truck includes a tray body comprising a tray inside. A pair of pivot rods is coupled to the tray body and a pair of legs is coupled to the pair of pivot rods. The pair of legs comprises a left leg and a right leg each having a pair of support arms coupled to a left pivot rod and a right pivot rod, respectively. The pair of legs each has a cross bar extending between the pair of support arms. The pair of legs moves between a collapsed position and an alternate extended position. A plurality of springs is coupled to the pair of pivot rods and applies pressure on the pair of pivot rods to move the pair of legs towards the collapsed position.
Work stand slip cover
A slip cover for encapsulating a top portion of a work-stand is provided. The slip cover includes a D-shaped first portion and a D-shaped second portion. The D-shaped first portion and D-shaped second portion form a D-shaped slip cover with their three corresponding sides connected. The work stand includes a first stand, a second stand, and a foam sleeve. The first stand is coupled with the second stand. In one aspect, the first stand and second stand are adapted to tilt with respect to each other. The foam sleeve is applied on the top portion of the work-stand. The slip cover is applied over the top portion of the work-stand. Other aspects are disclosed and claimed.
FIXING DEVICE FOR REPAIRING ALUMINUM ALLOY WHEEL HUB AND USING METHOD THEREOF
A fixing device for repairing an aluminum alloy wheel hub includes a base and universal wheels connected with the bottom of the base through support legs, wherein one side of the bottom plate is connected with air cylinders; the top of the bottom plate is connected with a fixing plate through a rotating shaft mounted rotationally; corresponding sides of vertical plates at the two sides of the fixing plate are each connected with a pressing plate through two sets of springs; adjusting bolts penetrate through the middles of the vertical plates; a first groove is formed in the middle of the fixing plate; two sets of guide rollers are rotationally mounted in the first groove; a top plate is fixedly mounted at the top of the bracket; a push plate is connected with the bottom of the top plate through a second hydraulic cylinder.
Vehicle Body Part Rack With Lateral Supports Able To Rotate The Vehicle Body Part
A vehicle body part rack, being used for placing a vehicle body part during assembly or post-treatment of said vehicle body part, including a base plate and a plurality of vehicle body part supports arranged on the base plate, each of the vehicle body part support comprising a supporting head, and a supporting rod connected to the supporting head and the base plate, the supporting rod being movable with respect to the base plate, characterized in that the rack has lateral supports able to hold the vehicle body part and to rotate it.
Stand Head Assembly
According to one aspect of the invention there is disclosed herein a stand head assembly (10). The stand head assembly (10) comprises a coupling (12) to facilitate coupling between an object to be supported and a stand body (14). The coupling (12) has an object face (16) adapted for operative attachment to the object to be supported, and an opposing support face (18) adapted for operative attachment to the stand body (16). The stand head assembly further comprises a drive assembly (20) which is operatively associated with the stand body (14) and adapted for attachment to the coupling (12). The drive assembly (20) includes a drive dog (22) which is operatively adapted to impart pivotal movement to the coupling. A securing assembly (24) is provided which is operatively adapted to secure the coupling to the drive assembly. The coupling (12) includes a drive slot (26) operatively associated with the drive dog (22) of the drive assembly. The drive slot is operatively adapted (i) to receive and hold the drive dog (22) and (ii) to provide a contact surface (28) to be acted upon by the drive dog (22) so as in use to impart pivotal movement to the coupling (12) and the object to which the coupling is mounted. In one embodiment the stand head assembly is incorporated in an engine stand.
Hold down device and method for securing movable vehicle panels during processing
A device for securing a movable panel relative to a vehicle body includes a housing, a plunger, a handle, and a spring. The housing defines a bore and a slot. The plunger includes a shaft and a clamp extending radially outward from the shaft. The shaft extends through the bore and is coupled to the housing for relative axial and rotational movement relative to the housing. The handle is fixedly coupled to the shaft and extends through the slot. The spring biases the clamp toward the housing.
Method for installing details onto a headliner for a vehicle
A headliner assembly apparatus includes an input delivery device attempting to deliver an input related to a predetermined headliner to a controller that is in communication with the input delivery device. An indexing assembly is in communication with the controller, wherein the indexing assembly positions at least one headliner detail in an installation position in response to the input related to the predetermined headliner. A headliner support is adapted to position the predetermined headliner, wherein the predetermined headliner is placed on the indexing assembly, and wherein the headliner is placed to engage the at least one headliner detail in the installation position. A detail installing assembly couples the at least one headliner detail in the installation position to the predetermined headliner.
