System for positioning of equipment
Systems for the positioning of equipment are disclosed. A system of the present disclosure can provide an apparatus including: a height adjustable table; an arm support structure coupled to and positioned above the height adjustable table; a length adjustable arm slidably connected to the arm support structure, the length adjustable arm being configured to support a piece of equipment; and an equipment support bracket coupled to the length adjustable arm configured to removably attach the piece of equipment.
Adjustable universal adaptor for a lifting jack
An adaptor is provided for a jack assembly having a lifting jack carrying a horizontal plate for raising and lowering a heavy component supported by the jack assembly. The adaptor includes a horizontal support plate fastened to and vertically offset from the horizontal plate of the jack assembly by a height. A plurality of elongated arms is slidably mounted between the two plates to move in a generally horizontal plane. Each of arms includes a holding assembly configured to engage portions of the component supported on the support plate to stabilize the component as it is raised and lowered by the jack assembly. The arms are supported in the height between the two plates at different heights so that the arms are capable of a wide range of rotational and linear movements to adjust the position of the holding assembly of each arm relative to the heavy component.

Apparatus for supporting vehicle body during assembly
An apparatus for supporting a vehicle body during assembly includes a support frame, at least one first vehicle body supporting portion installed on a front portion of the support frame to be movable in a vehicle width direction, at least one first position adjustment unit installed on the front portion of the support frame and configured to manually vary a position of a corresponding first vehicle body supporting portion, at least one second vehicle body supporting portion installed on a rear portion of the support frame to be capable of clamping, and at least one second position adjustment unit installed on the rear portion of the support frame and configured to manually vary a position in a vehicle length direction of a corresponding second vehicle body supporting portion.
CYLINDER HEAD PALLET
A cylinder head pallet includes: a base plate; a subplate disposed upwardly of the base plate, spaced apart from the base plate, and having a first surface and a second surface that oppose each other; and a plurality of posts installed on the first surface and the second surface of the subplate to support a cylinder head.
SPLIT OUTER SIDE PANEL JIG AND SYSTEM
A system for hanging a split outer side panel on a rack in a manufacturing environment, the split outer side panel includes a first part having a rear section, a top section, and a rear portion of a side sill, and a second part having an A-pillar, a B-pillar, and a front portion of the side sill. The system includes a jig for hanging the first part of the split outer side panel. The jig includes a first keyhole pin extending from a first surface of the jig, the first keyhole pin being received by a first keyhole in the first part, and a second keyhole pin extending from a first surface of the jig, the second keyhole pin being received by a second keyhole in the first part.
HORIZONTAL ENGINE BUILD STAND
A horizontal support tool for an engine build stand, the horizontal support tool includes a support tube along an axis and a tie shaft between a handle and a puck assembly, said puck assembly including a puck selectively extendable and retractable transverse to the axis in response to rotation of the handle. A method of horizontally assembling a portion of a gas turbine engine including mounting a first module to an engine build stand; installing a horizontal support tool into the first module, the horizontal support tool supported in a spherical bearing supported by the engine build stand; and installing a second module to the first module, the horizontal support tool operable to at least partially support second module.
Weight supporting apparatus and method
An apparatus for partially supporting a vehicle is provided especially for a vehicle having a very limited area on its underside within which to safely apply an upward force, including vehicles with a small distance between the bottom of the chassis and the ground such as a sports car which allows the user to position a lifting jack at the proper access jack point for lifting a portion of the vehicle, and lifting the jack and vehicle portion upwardly to a desired height. The legs of the jack stand can be temporarily inserted into a support member engaging the vehicle and the jack. The jack stand includes a support member with open ends telescopically connected to a pair of rigid legs that are curved and each of the legs are telescopically attached to supporting bases using locking pins. Once the jack stand is installed, the lifting jack can be removed.
ENGINE STAND WITH REAR MOUNT SUPPORT
A stand for an engine is provided. The stand includes a base member having a first end and a second end. The base member also includes a front post fixedly connected to the base member at the first end. The base member further includes a rear support system fixedly connected to the base member at the second end. The rear support system includes two sleeve members and two rear posts, such that each rear post is slidably coupled to a sleeve member, and such that each rear post includes a clamp configured to hold a rear mount of the engine.
VEHICLE DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT STAND
A support stand for facilitating the repositioning of a work piece undergoing repair includes a base member in which a spindle is journaled for rotation about a vertical axis and affixed to the upper end of the spindle is a generally U-shaped yoke having parallel, spaced-apart arms between which a work piece support member is journaled for rotation about horizontal axis. A detent mechanism is provided for releasably latching the spindle in any one of a plurality of angular positions relative to the base. Similarly, a detent mechanism is provided between the yoke and the work piece support member for latching it in one of a plurality of angular positions.
