A three-axis limiting tool placement device includes a basic face having a placement area, and a tool placement track assembled in the placement area, wherein there is a three-axis limiting tool placement device in the placement area. The tool placement device includes a limiting part and an elastic hook fastener. The limiting part includes an abutment wall, two lateral limiting walls and a pressing edge to form axially limiting function of X, Y and Z axes of the first end of tool placement track. The elastic hook fastener includes an elastic arm and a hook-shaped portion formed with a dial control portion and a pressing surface. The pressing surface is pressed against the second end of the tool placement track to form a Z-axis limiting function. The insert may include an upper part defining at least one support configured to receive an item of surgical equipment, and defining a first plane and having a plurality of edges defining a polygonal shape. A first side wall may extend downwardly from a first edge of the upper part and define a second plane. The first side wall may have a first, male attachment feature. A second side wall may extend downwardly from a second edge of the upper part and have a second, female attachment feature. The first attachment feature may be configured to mate with the form of the female attachment feature when the first side wall is moved in a direction parallel to the first plane and the second plane to connect the insert to a further insert having a similar construction.

A tool holder having a bib shaped plate mounted on a U-shaped collar configured to nest inside a rim of a utility bucket. The plate has a cutout with a web that overhangs the inside of the bucket and a skirt around the periphery of the plate. The skirt terminates at ends of the cutout with insert tab extensions, each of which has a foot with an outwardly sloped arch, an inwardly projection heel and a horizontal toe. The web provides an edge to scrape off materials from a tool into the bucket while the heel secures the holder to the rim.

A tool holder having a bib shaped plate mounted on a U-shaped collar configured to nest inside a rim of a utility bucket. The plate has a cutout with a web that overhangs the inside of the bucket and a skirt around the periphery of the plate. The skirt terminates at ends of the cutout with insert tab extensions, each of which has a foot with an outwardly sloped arch, an inwardly projection heel and a horizontal toe. The web provides an edge to scrape off materials from a tool into the bucket while the heel secures the holder to the rim.
