Device for measuring, marking, cutting, and sewing material
A device for measuring, marking and cutting material, the device formed of a clear, transparent, translucent or tinted substrate that is either rigid, semi-rigid, flexible or bendable and having in one implementation, a plurality of first and second lines are formed on the substrate to define an unbroken, continuous channel in which a plurality of windows are formed to include a grid line segment to aid in aligning the device with the underlying material. Alternatively or in addition, the device includes one or more visually perceptible invisible lines bounded by opposing line segment pairs and terminal ends to aid in viewing and aligning with underlying material.
Wallbox installation tool
As described herein, a wall box installation tool may include a template body, one or more hollow pegs, a guide ring, and/or one or more template cards. The template cards may be configured to be installed on a front surface of the template body. A template card may define a plurality of holes therethrough. The guide ring may be configured to be installed within a pre-drilled hole in a wall. Each template card may be associated with a respective electrical device configuration. A subset of bores extending through the hollow pegs may be accessible via the template card when the template card is installed on the front surface of the template body. The wall box installation tool may include one or more fasteners that are configured to install a template card onto the front surface of the template body.

Variable radius arc scribing arrangement for a framing square
A layout tool for scribing an arc includes an arm, a variable location pivot point arrangement on the arm, and a plurality of mark openings spaced from the pivot point arrangement. A position fixing member, such as a nail, is engaged with the pivot point arrangement to fix the position of the tool on a workpiece at a pivot point defined by the position fixing member. A marking instrument is engaged within one of the mark openings, and the tool is pivoted on the workpiece about the pivot point to make an arcuate mark on the workpiece at a radius defined by the location of the position fixing member relative to the mark opening within which the marking instrument is engaged. The tool may be a square, which is configured with two arms that extend away from each other at a predetermined angle.
Panel marking device
A panel marking device for marking angular cut lines on panels includes a plate, which has a straight end. An L-bracket is engaged to and extends along the straight end. Cutouts in the L-bracket distal define teeth, which engage an edge of a panel so that the plate is prevented from sliding along the edge. A dial comprising a pointer is rotationally engaged to an upper face of the plate. A fastener is engaged to the dial and is opposingly positioned on a circumference of the dial relative to the pointer. Indicia are positioned on the plate, with each indicium corresponding to a respective angle of an imaginary line, which extend from a string line engaged to the fastener through the pointer, relative to the edge of the panel. The string line can be snapped to place a linear mark on the panel that matches the respective angle.

Cement siding tolerance device and measurement tool
A cement siding tolerance device and measurement tool, which has a main panel having a tab and a ridge, whereby the tab and the ridge perpendicularly extend from the main panel at opposite sides. The main panel has a front face, a rear face, a top edge, a bottom edge, first and second lateral edges, and a plurality of holes. The main panel has ruler-markings adjacent to the first and second lateral edges. The main panel is rectangular in shape. The tab perpendicularly extends from the front face separated a predetermined distance from the bottom edge, and the ridge perpendicularly extends from the bottom edge at the rear face. The tab and the ridge measure clearances and gaps between siding and trim products with solid surfaces building elements.

Layout Tools With Calibrated Offset Surfaces For Collinear Marking
Calibrated layout tools with calibrated offset surfaces to provide for the collinear marking of a workpiece or multiple workpieces are disclosed. The calibrated layout tools allow for accurate marking of work pieces such as the precise layout and marking of dovetail joints for example. The calibrated layout tools provide a new and efficient approach to laying out and marking joinery without common and frequently occurring measurement errors. The calibrated layout tools accommodate various joint geometries, including size, spacing and angle for use in a variety of applications ranging from small decorative objects like jewel boxes to large-scale traditional construction methods like timber framing.
Dual Speed Square
A dual speed square has a first triangle member, a second triangle member, and an intermediate connector. The first triangle member and the second triangle member are each laterally and hingedly connected to the intermediate connector opposite each other through a first hinge joint and a second hinge joint, respectively. The triangle members rotate respective to the intermediate connector between a deployed configuration and a stored configuration. In the deployed configuration, the triangle members may be placed on opposite sides of a workpiece in order to identically mark out the opposite sides of the workpiece. In the stored configuration, the triangle members are positioned adjacent to each other, occupying a smaller space than in the deployed configuration for easier transport and storage.
