NAVIGATION MARKERS FOR AUTONOMOUS ROBOTIC VEHICLES AND MARKER PLACEMENT TOOLS
Navigation markers for use by autonomous robotic vehicles comprise a plate having a flat front surface, one or more position markers made of a reflective material, an infrared material, or a combination thereof disposed on the flat front surface, and a pair of first mechanical arms extending from the plate and articulable relative to the plate. The articulable mechanical legs allow the plate to be mounted to flat or curved surfaces, such as ductwork. Further, the plate can be prepared with numerous navigation markers prior to placement on the ceiling, and a special placement tool allows the plate to be attached to the ceiling from a distance, such that ladders, lifts, stilts, and the like may not be necessary, thereby improving safety and installation efficiency.

Door opening device
A door opening device comprising a multi-directional head and a telescoping pole is provided. The multi-directional head allows the operator to choose the angle when opening the door and the telescoping pole allows the operator to remain at a distance away from the doorway while operating the doorknob. By allowing an operator to remain around a corner when opening a door, an armed and cornered individual is less able to harm the operator by shooting through the door.

Foldible reaching and grasping tool
A reaching and grabbing tool is provided. The tool includes a trigger assembly having a trigger and a handle. A jaw assembly is provided having at least one jaw operably connected to the trigger to move the at least one jaw. A hinge assembly is disposed between the trigger assembly and the jaw assembly, the hinge assembly being selectively lockable between an operating position and a folded position.

A DEVICE FOR STRAPPING A LOAD AT HEIGHTS
A load strapping device (10) has a first elongated member (12) having a first end (14), a second elongated member (16) having a second end (18) and a pivot assembly (20) interconnecting the first and second ends. A strap end receiving assembly (22) is connected to a free end (24) of one of the elongated member (16). For use, one end of a strap (40) is engaged to the strap end receiving assembly. A load strapping arrangement over a load (44) is formed when a user, located at one side of the load, grips the device and lifts the one end of the strap to a first position just above the height of the load. From this position, the one end of the strap, by pivotal manipulation of the elongated members, is then fed over the top of the load until the one end of the strap reaches a second position at the other side of the load. After this position is reached, the one end of the strap is disengaged from the strap end receiving assembly and the device is withdrawn from the top of the load. This allows the one end of the strap and another end of the strap to be securely attached to respective anchor points for strapping over the load.

Foldable and lockable grabber tool
A foldable elongate grabber tool includes a proximal section and a distal section that are foldable relative to each other between a folded position and an extended position. An actuation member is attached to the proximal section and actuates a cable coupled to engagement elements disposed at the distal section. A hinge mechanism connects the proximal and distal sections. The hinge mechanism automatically locks the proximal and distal sections relative to each other when they reach the extended position. The proximal and distal sections are biased to open automatically from the folded position to the extended position. A hinge pin is biased toward a locked position, and is blocked from moving to the locked position until the proximal and distal sections reach the extended position.
