Multi-Purpose Grabbing Device
The present invention relates generally to the field of grabbing devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to a multi-purpose grabbing device that is comprised of a first end, an exterior shaft with at least one internal spring and a second end. The first end is further comprised of a handle assembly with a trigger and at least one locking button. The second end is further comprised of a claw assembly. In differing embodiments, the shaft may be of a fixed length or may have an interior shaft that allows the shaft to become adjustable. The device is also comprised of a claw assembly capable of grasping a nail or other object that is operated from its other end. In this manner, the device can be applied to any overhead task such that the user can reduce stress and strain in the shoulder joint while still completing the overhead task.
Storm drain trap installation device
A device for installation, maintenance, and/or removal of a catch basin hood and/or a catch basin trap; the device comprising a shank connecting a handle on one end and jaw-like arms on an opposite end, wherein the handle end of the shank further comprises a lever capable of actuating a snap-action installation of a catch basin trap.

SUBSTRATE CARRIER DETERIORATION DETECTION AND REPAIR
A system includes a plurality of semiconductor processing tools; a carrier purge station; a carrier repair station; and an overhead transport (OHT) loop for transporting one or more substrate carriers among the plurality of semiconductor processing tools, the carrier purge station, and the carrier repair station. The carrier purge station is configured to receive a substrate carrier from one of the plurality of semiconductor processing tools, purge the substrate carrier with an inert gas, and determine if the substrate carrier needs repair. The carrier repair station is configured to receive a substrate carrier to be repaired and replace one or more parts in the substrate carrier.
Extended Reach Shutter Manipulating Device
An extended reach shutter manipulating device for tilting louvers of a shutter includes a pole, a clamp, and an actuator. The clamp and the actuator are engaged to a first end and a second end of the pole, respectively. The actuator is operationally engaged to the clamp. The pole is grasped in a hand of a user proximate to the second end, positioning the user to position the clamp so that the clamp brackets a tilt rod of a shutter. The actuator can be selectively manipulated by the hand of the user so that the actuator closes the clamp on the tilt rod, positioning the user to selectively tilt louvers of the shutter.

Retrieving tool and method
Retrieving tool and method. This includes an elongated shaft having a shaft-length and a shaft-handle joined with a top end of the elongated shaft. Also includes a cord having a cord-length, a cord-handle joined with a first end of the cord, and the cord extending along the elongated shaft and movable relative to the elongated shaft where the cord-length is greater than the shaft-length. A platform is foldable upon itself between opposite platform ends, and the opposite platform ends are joined with a second end of the cord adjacent to a bottom end of the elongated shaft such that the platform is movable toward and away from the bottom end of the elongated shaft by the cord.

NURSERY POT POSITIONING DEVICE AND METHOD
A positioning device for a plant container having a lip. The positioning device has an extension arm with a hook rigidly connected at one end and a handle rigidly connected at the other end. The positioning device is utilized to move a plant container by engaging the hook with the plant container's lip and then dragging the plant container to a predetermined position. In a preferred embodiment the plant container is a nursery pot.
Guitar Pick Retriever
A guitar pick retriever includes an elongated shaft that has a width small enough for fitting between a string of a guitar and an edge of a sound hole of the guitar. The elongated shaft is sufficiently long for reaching within a hollow body of a guitar through a sound hole of the guitar. An attracting device is affixed at one end of the elongated shaft.
The attracting device having attractive properties (e.g., suction, static charge, stickiness) such that, upon contact and/or pressure with a guitar pick, the attracting device temporarily holds onto the guitar pick for removing the guitar pick from the hollow body of the guitar.
