A hanger security apparatus for securing an access to a hook of a hanger on a rod, comprises a case; at least one bottom opening formed on the case; wherein the hook of the hanger can be moved in and out of the case through the at least one bottom opening; two side-openings formed on the case, wherein the rod is passed through the two side-openings; at least one door attached with the case, wherein the hook of the hanger can be accessed when the at least one door is in an open position, wherein the hook of the hanger is not accessible when the at least one door is in a closed position; at least one lock on the at least one door; a first stopper on the at least one door, wherein the first stopper is configured to be above the hook of the hanger to prevent an up movement of the hook when the at least one door is in the closed position; and a second stopper, wherein the third stopper is configured to limit the hanger from moving axially around the rod.

A combination of a reusable garment hanger and an indicator for displaying garment-related information is provided. The hanger has an indicator attachment mechanism, which is configured to selectively engage, in a detachable manner, a first indicator or a second indicator that has a dimension different from the dimension of the first indicator. Described is a checkout station that includes a hanger hook coupled to a platform. The hanger hook is used to hang empty clothes hangers on, so the hangers can be collected and held in one location until they are re-used or disposed of. The hanger hook can be a U-shaped elongate member with a curved bottom piece, a first side, and a second side. The first side and the second side are each coupled to the bottom piece to form the U shape. The first side couples to the register stand, and hangers are hung from the second side. Having the hanger hook at the checkout station makes it easy for employees and customers to hang empty hangers on the hanger hook so the hangers are collected and do not end up on the floor or cluttering the work spaces of the checkout station.

An improved clothing hanger is disclosed for storing any type of clothing garment on a clothing hook. Instead of a traditional hook design, the hanger device comprises an eyelet or through-hole at the top of the device to easily slip over clothing hooks, especially those located inside vehicles or gym lockers. Users can simply slip the eyelet over the clothing hook to better support clothing rather than fumbling with a traditional clothes hanger hook.

A portable clothes hanging assembly includes a plurality of brackets attached together to define a wall mount that is attachable to a wall of a room in a building and a hanger extending away from the wall mount. A hanging wheel is rotatably attached to the hanger such that the hanging wheel has a vertical rotational axis. A plurality of hanger supports is provided and each of the hanger supports is suspendable from the hanging wheel. Each of the hanger supports has a plurality of receivers thereby facilitating each of the receivers to receive a respective one of a plurality of clothes hangers. In this way the hanging wheel facilitates the clothes hangers to hang clothes in the absence of a closet.

Methods and apparatus for organizing items according to various aspects of the present invention may comprise a hanger tag system to convey information relating to an item on a hanger. The hanger tag system may comprise, for example, a mount connected to the hanger and an information medium mounted on the mount, wherein the information medium provides information relating to the item. In various embodiments, the hanger tag system further comprises a connector configured to connect the mount to the hanger. In various embodiments, the information medium comprises a labeling surface.
