Powered garments, portable devices controlling powered garments, chargers for powered garments, and interconnections of powered garments
In selected examples, a hanger couples to an electrically-powered garment, to provide electrical energy to the garment to recharge the battery of the garment. The electrical energy may be transferred from the hanger to the garment using inductive coupling. The electrical energy may also or instead be transferred using contact coupling facilitated by magnet(s) in the interfaces of the hanger system and the garment. The garment may include biometric, environmental, and other sensors to collect data. The hanger system-garment interfaces may provide for data flow between the hanger and the garment. In selected examples, a smart garment may be controlled by a smartphone or another mobile device. The smartphone may control several smart garments, which may be connected in series and/or in parallel, with one of the smart garments being a master connected to the smartphone, and the other garments being slave garments connected to the smartphone through the master.

CLOTHES WEAR COUNTER FOR A HANGER
An article of clothing wear indicator and/or use counter for tracking the number of times an article of clothing has been worn. The clothing wear tracker includes an intermediate portion or body, an upper portion or body, and a lower portion or body. Preferably, the clothing wear tracker is configured to allow both the upper portion or body and the lower portion or body to rotate about the intermediate portion or body independently. The clothing wear tracker is designed to fit or secure to a hanger and to provide a mechanism for tracking the number of times a user wears an article of clothing, such as a shirt, a blouse, pants, or a dress, and is easily attachable or securable to a clothing hanger.
INTERACTIVE VALET
An interactive valet having a frame to support hangers to receive and support garments such as, for example, a trouser hanger, a coat hanger, a tray and a hamper support. Load cells coupled to one or more of these supporting structures detect the deposit of an article thereon and generate one or more signals to a processor. The processor, in response to receiving a signal from a load cell or from a plurality of load cells, generates a response signal to a response device thereby causing the response device to produce an audible response, a visual response, or a combination thereof. The processor may be programmable to generate response signals that are customized to the load cell or plurality of load cells that detect the deposit of an article on a structure of the interactive valet, or customized to the user, or both.

Smart hanger system
An electronic hanger system for identifying clothing articles is disclosed. The electronic hanger system comprises a charging station comprising a plurality of arms, a hub provided at the charging station, and one or more electrical contact points provided at each of the arms. The electronic hanger system comprises a plurality of hangers placed at a closet rack. Each hanger comprises hanger arms used for hanging at least one clothing article, a metal suspension hook coupled to the closet rack, an audio output device provided at the hanger arms and an illuminating device provided at the hanger arms. The electronic hanger system comprises a user device configured to store information corresponding to the hubs and the clothing articles hanged to the hangers. A user of user device uses the user device to select the clothing article based on the style, type, and description of the clothing article. The user device transmits a request to the hub. The hub transmits the request to the hanger to produce sound by the audio output device or to illuminate the illuminating device such that the user's attention is drawn to the hanger holding the clothing article.
Device and method for closet organization
A divider device for organizing hanging clothing into groups by dividing space along a clothing rod into respective sections includes: a circularly arcuate clip having a terminal distal end and a proximal end, the clip defining a circularly arcuate internal contact surface for engaging a clothing rod and a gap between the distal end and the proximal end for permitting a clothing rod to pass therethrough by flexure of the clip when mounting the clip on a clothing rod, the internal contact surface being interrupted by at least the gap and thereby incompletely encircling a central axis of the circularly arcuate internal contact surface; and a planar presentation plate connected to the proximal end of the clip, the presentation plate being offset from the central axis and having a planar front face perpendicular to the central axis.
Automotive Clothes Hanging Device
An automotive clothes hanging device for hanging multiple clothes hangers with clothes without impeding visibility includes a strap, which has a pair of holes positioned therein. Each hole is positioned proximate to a respective opposed end of the strap. A fixed hanger hook of a vehicle is inserted into one of the holes so that the strap is engaged thereto. A hook of a clothes hanger is inserted into the other of the holes is configured so that the clothes hanger is engaged to the strap. The strap also can be folded so that holes of the pair of holes are aligned. The strap defines a loop when the fixed hanger hook of the vehicle is inserted into the pair of holes. The hook of the clothes hanger can be inserted into the loop. Multiple clothes hangers with clothes thereon can be hung from the strap without impeding visibility.
Garment Hangers and Sizers and Method for Reusing the Same
A garment hanger and a sizer that can be removably mounted to the hanger are provided. The sizer includes a pair of inwardly extending fingers for mounting the sizer to a hook or a body of the hanger. The sizer can be manually or automatically removed from the sizer by a tool, by inserting the tool into a space between the hanger and a respective inwardly extending finger. The hanger and the sizer enable a method of reusing hangers and sizers, by automatically removing the sizers from the hangers, processing the removed hangers and sizers to provide reusable hangers and sizers. The reusable hangers and sizers are distributed to remote garment manufacturers for providing garment-on-hanger products.
