The present disclosure relates more particularly to a protective wrap for a robot component. The protective wrap includes a continuous strip of a material sheet configured to wrap around the robot component in a plurality of loops so as to form a tubular body that surrounds a portion of the robot component.

The sterile lock (200) has at least one lock flap (208, 210) which in a closed state shields the first transmitting means (102) in a sterile manner. The sterile unit (400) comprising a second transmitting means (406) has sterile flaps (402, 404) which in a closed state shield the second transmitting means (406) in a sterile manner. When connecting the sterile unit (400) to the sterile lock (200) the lock flap (208, 210) and the sterile flap (402, 404) are opened so that a direct transmission between the first transmitting means (102) and the second transmitting means (406) is possible. When separating the sterile unit (400) from the sterile lock (200) the lock flaps (208, 210) and the sterile flap (402, 404) are each automatically closed and locked so that they shield the first transmitting means (102) and the second transmitting means (406) from the sterile area (39). Further, the invention relates to a sterile lock (200) and a method for robot-assisted surgery.

An automated device, in particular a robot, comprises: a movable structure; actuator means, for causing displacements of the movable structure; a control system, which includes a control unit and is able to control the actuator means; and a sensorized covering, which covers at least part of the movable structure and integrates sensor means that include at least one of contact sensor means and proximity sensor means.

The sensorized covering comprises a plurality of covering modules, each having a respective load-bearing structure of a predefined shape associated to which is at least one layer of elastically yielding material. The plurality of covering modules comprises one or more sensorized covering modules, which include respective sensor means. The load-bearing structure of at least some of the covering modules has electrical connector means associated thereto, for enabling separable electrical connection of at least two different covering modules that are adjacent to one another.

Sensorized Covering for an Industrial Device

A sensorized covering, prearranged for covering at least part of a movable structure of an automated device. The sensorized covering is useful for sensing an actual impact or anticipating an imminent impact to the automated device. The sensorized covering includes one or more covering modules wherein each covering module may include contact sensors and/or proximity sensors, a loading bearing structure and/or controls. The individual sensorized modules may be independently connected or controlled, or connected together and collectively controlled. The housing has a motor incorporating recess including a positioning section for the stator, a hole section for fixing the stator incorporated in the motor incorporating recess, and a heat radiation groove section on a sidewall of the motor incorporating recess. A heat radiation member is filled in the heat radiation groove section.

MEDICAL ROBOT COVER

A medical robot cover covers an external surface of a medical robot including: a main unit that stands on a base; and an arm member attached to one end of the main unit in a swingable or extensible manner. The medical robot cover includes: an attaching portion to be wound around at least one of the main unit and the arm member, on an inner circumferential surface of the cover facing the external surface of the medical robot. Therefore, the medical robot cover can be easily placed on the medical robot. Further, the medical robot cover can be restricted from being damaged due to extension or swinging of the arm member, and can be restricted from inhibiting the action of the arm member.
