The robot includes a motor mounted on a frame; a driving member having a shaft portion mounted to the motor and an output portion configured to engage a downstream driving member; a seal ring coupled to the frame and having an inner annular portion; and a collar secured to the shaft portion and having an outside peripheral surface in contact with the inner annular portion of the seal ring. A robot having a more reliable seal for protecting the motor can be achieved.
